How many of you find yourself in a deep dark part of your gut....find yourself in a situation like today, hoping we lose. Ever since the Kneel I basically stop caring about the team...and now watching this stihshow continue there is this little voice in my head pulling for us to lose. I cannot believe its come to that but just between us boys....I bet I am not the only one. The players aside from Allen are not likable at all and Cal.....oh boy I really want him to go. So if we can all keep a secret does anyone feel like I do. It must really get worse before it can get better. Spare me the "I'm blue till I die and will never give up ont them." Whatever. Then enjoy this rolling train wreck that will not improve as long as the current regime is in charge.

Between you and me, I’ll admit to being fascinated with how awful we are. Can’t look away when I remember to tune in.
It began with all the Cultural crap and t shirts in preseason team pictures. Then the poor coaching and player mismanagement. The kneeling was the final straw. I am tired of left wing liberalism being shoved down our throats. I love every soul black or white but UK basketball needs to be about KY and UK and not being politically correct. Cal needs to go tonight. He has destroyed what UK basketball has been about and turned it into developmental league with social correctness while spitting on the Commonwealth of KY and its great basketball tradition
I’ve never cared less about a KY team in my lifetime. They are easy to dislike, and Cal is easy to hate.

I have some level of admiration for the people that still say anything positive, I think they're crazy, but they still care.
I was angry about it a few games back because I held out hope it could be fixed and salvage the season. Now its clear nothing is going to get fixed, we're going to see the same game played every time until this season mercifully ends.
The players know the season is over too. At some point soon, if not already, every one of them is going to take stock in what it means to be a Kentucky basketball player in 2021

That is a really good way to explain how I see this team.. I hope Cal is as uncomfortable as most if not all the fan base. If I were in his position I would be ashamed to put this team on the floor
I don't respect anyone who kneels during our National Anthem. It's disrespectful to our men and women who serves and have served our country. That is why we stand, not kneel.

I will never cheer for UK to lose but for the first time ever as a UK fan in my life. I do not expect to win any game we play.
The only way Calipari leaves is if they buy out his contract and I don't see that happening.

Can’t say I root for us to lose but watching us lose doesn’t bother me one bit. Not sure there’s a difference really. Cal not playing Allen tonight (his choice) during the 2nd half makes tonight’s loss all that more enjoyable in my book. I have grown to dislike cal with extreme prejudice in a very short period of time. I’m embarrassed he’s our coach.
I want no part of Boston coming back. In reality just about everyone on this team could head elsewhere
I dont actively root against us , but I’ve never seen Karma so visible . She usually works in the background , but karma isn’t going to let JC destroy a player without getting visited , early and often . It’s a unreal spot .. Never want to see UK lose a game in ANYTHING. But, I have become indifferent to losing which to me may be even worse. I HATE to see this STORIED program experience what has happened this season. This is going to end up being the WORST season record wise in UK Basketball history.

The people who want us to lose want it for the RIGHT reasons. They are sick of Cal's system. They are sick of players using us for a year and moving along. They are sick of Cal addressing the fan base as if we are morons who don't know a thing about the game. They are sick of having a new starting 5 every year and being lucky to have one recognizable player on the roster, And quite frankly they are sick of UK being bad at basketball, and they realize true change won't come until we truly hit rock bottom. I don't root for losses, but I root for UK changing in a positive direction every single time. I am ready for a change

I think that is where I am. It will take a continued trainwreck this season for Cal to hang it up. So losimg will possibly help us win again. This program is not going to change with Cal in charge. JMHO

Yeah I don't get why they waited so long to do that kneeling stunt. It's like you have that someone that you know a fad has run its course when that someone starts doing it themselves after most everyone else is done with it. And yes that's all this kneeling is, a silly trendy fad.

I said in another thread this year really feels like one of those few times where momentum is just building towards a change. Not even solely based on the record and god awful on court product either. I’m not sure what that change will be if anything but it just has that feel to it.
Guess we will all see how it plays out.

I'll never HOPE we lose, not even a little. The only thing that little voice says to me is "maybe this is the loss that makes Cal see what most of us have seen for many years and start caring about UK instead of draft picks".
