Sunday (8/10) is the birthday of Jon Farriss. He was a founding member, and the drummer, of The Farriss Brothers. He remained with the group when they changed the name to The Vegetables. He remained with the group when they evolved into Manfred Mann & the Manfreds. And he was still with the group when they achieved a good bit of success as Manfred Mann. To celebrate, their 1st hit, which was a cover (which they made famous), and then their biggest hit, which was a cover of a Dylan song that they released long before Dylan did:
