Jordan vs Curry

FIG, know you as one of the guys on the board who really knows hoops, but come on, what the Warriors run is not "isolation."

I meant NBA in general. The shot that Curry took (I know it goes in a lot) is just plain silly.

Curry is a great player and maybe a future hall of famer but he is not in Jordan catagory

Nor Lebron category.

There are half a dozen guards who are/were better than Curry. Curry has had a great year and a half and may end up the best three point shooter in the history of the game.

But he isn't MJ, Magic, LeBron, Kobe, Oscar, or Jerry West. Doesn't make the third team all-NBA yet.

But he might one day.

Well, MJ, LeBron, and Kobe weren't point guards. Once his career is done, he'll be in competition with Magic, Oscar, Jerry West, Stockton, Nash, Cousy, etc. At this point, he's had two very good years, one of which was exceptional and record-shattering... he has a long career to go before he can seriously be discussed among the best point guards of all time. And once his career is over... he'll also have competition from other guys like Paul, Irving, and Westbrook, who played in the same era of the "scoring point guard".
