I would be more impressed if he talked about what he's going to do as senator as opposed to just bashing trump. What's his position on immigration and those in the country illegal, where does he stand on election integrity, what is he going to do about lowering prices, etc....

I personally think the democrat strategy of a platform of being anti trump is not a good idea. But, that's just my opinion.

How does Ossoff compare with the guys you support?

to tell you the truth, I don't know what his policies are. From what I have been able to determine, he pretty much follows the Democrat line. I haven't found anything where he "bucks the system"/ Now admittedly, I don't live in georgia and its too early to worry about presidential politics, So other that the "fawning" on here I haven't paid attention to him.

In fact, it seems as if he is one of the crowd in Democrat politics. I haven't seen anything that separates him from other democrats.

well, he's being touted as presidential material, there aren't any platforms for 2028 campaign yet. But I did look up Ossoff's Senate history. And, as I posted, I didn't see anything that jumps out that's significantly different from the democrat Senate mainstream.

We live in an era where politicians have to raise money. Much of that process is what we used to recognize as bribery and improper, prior to the Supreme Court and Congress making it legal. But making bribery legal doesn't make it OK or honest.

If you are going to compare and contrast the sources of income for Ossoff and for Trump, or for Ossoff and whoever he's running against, great. Do that.

If you are just going to beat the bribery horse without any deeper thought, you've done that.

I didn't begin the "bribery" position..you did.

I posted that I think using the term "bribe" is improper. I just don't think you can use the term bribe when talking about politicians accepting PAC money and, at the same time, talk positively about a senator that takes PAC money and exclude him from the category you created.

And, I'm not comparing or contrasting sources of income. I know where the money comes from....and as long as it's legal, then I don't know what we're talking about other than your use of the word "bribes".

well, to be fair, he's the senator from Georgia, not a national figure yet...so I guess trump might be partially right. Most people who don't follow politics, probably don't know who he is. If he decides to run in 2028, he likely will will become better known

He's not a household name like fetterman or Sanders (who likely won't run again) Warren AOC and some others, but sometimes its the darkhorse who wins.

I don't mean that negatively, and it might well be in his interest to avoid the spotlight on what might be perceived as some of the "radical" Democrat positions. I haven't seen anything from him about the DSA..you?

I don't know if he's answered that question directly and I'm not sure it would be in his best interest to disavow them, but I know for a fact he wouldn't be in favor of their more extreme policies. He didn't even support the Green New Deal.
