Agreed. How could this be good? Probably just being respectful of his state U and the offer.
Not sure why Rivals has him as having one from PSU as our recruiting guy has been pretty adamant he doesn't have one.
Maybe it is time Ash pulls his offer. This kid has played to many games during his recruitment.

I think that RU/Coach Erb is also looking at Juco RB from Arizona.
This is why following recruiting is such a waste of time. Kids top 5 is made up of schools he has never visited, just started hearing from, or doesn't have an offer from. See you all tomorrow...lol
Him, Epstein from FL, Dunlap from Alabama, Farmer from Peddie all great options. Erb should show up there tomorrow and pull his scholarship in person.

I was being sarcastic..but he should get to know what it feels like first hand....I know the staff wouldnt do that..but pulling his offer should be a real option after they sit down with him..
Can't say I disagree. If he's not making RU a priority, they should move on and use the offer on someone who wants to be here.
Who knows if this is a test to see how much we want him?

If the coaches think he's something special, I say fight till the end.
I'd rather see the staff fighting tooth and nail for bonefide talent than settle for underrecruited, fringe/upside guys.

I sure hope Ash doesn't let ego and pride control his recruiting decisions the way it appears some here might do. If we have an alternative that would be a better player and that definitely wants to come to RU, then maybe consider dropping the offer. Otherwise, hang in there and hope for the best.

Well maybe his HS Coach should sit down with him and tell him to stop pulling people's chains ( FBS Coaches) and be a man.
A month or two ago one parent wanted him to stay home and the other wanted him to go out of state.
This kids recruitment is a head scratcher and I think the staff did as much as they could.
I think we should be men, worry about our own damn selves, and stop obsessing about how recruits go about managing their recruitment just because it isn't looking so great for us with one at the moment.
Really? This isn't exactly new news. Anybody who is paying attention isn't surprised here.
In recruiting the recruit has all the power. Once they get on campus, the power shifts back to the coach. Don't be egotistical. Alabama gets spurrned by recruits.
