Can't tell if this is good or bad? Not in top 5, but also in consideration?

Bad if you ask me. Not even the courtesy to put us in top 5.

Would be pretty painful if he went to penn state

This is interesting because we are already full, have turned away two R100 LBs (Anthony & Proctor) and he doesn't even have an offer yet.

Quite frankly, I wish we would just pass and go all in on Ricky Slade.

This would assuredly help RU in the long term in recruiting.
I was being sarcastic..but he should get to know what it feels like first hand....I know the staff wouldnt do that..but pulling his offer should be a real option after they sit down with him..

Can't say I disagree. If he's not making RU a priority, they should move on and use the offer on someone who wants to be here.

Who knows if this is a test to see how much we want him?

We aren't in a position of strength in most of these recruiting battles at the moment.

If the coaches think he's something special, I say fight till the end.

I'd rather see the staff fighting tooth and nail for bonefide talent than settle for underrecruited, fringe/upside guys.

I just wonder where his parents and HC are in all of this or if he is that bonkers.

What about Elijah Barnwell? I don't think Lovett is coming here. Don't pull his offer, that's a Flood move.

I sure hope Ash doesn't let ego and pride control his recruiting decisions the way it appears some here might do. If we have an alternative that would be a better player and that definitely wants to come to RU, then maybe consider dropping the offer. Otherwise, hang in there and hope for the best.

When we're back to bowling regularly again, maybe then we can allow ourselves to be a bit more egotistical and prideful.

Well maybe his HS Coach should sit down with him and tell him to stop pulling people's chains ( FBS Coaches) and be a man.
I think we should be men, worry about our own damn selves, and stop obsessing about how recruits go about managing their recruitment just because it isn't looking so great for us with one at the moment.

In recruiting the recruit has all the power. Once they get on campus, the power shifts back to the coach. Don't be egotistical. Alabama gets spurrned by recruits.
