And honestly, I don't think many people kiss up to me as a moderator. How stupid is that? I have no power. The site's owner asked me 12 years ago if I'd do this....I said yes. I think my posting style has probably built up enough equity the last 15-16 years that people realize I'm more than reasonable. I can count on one hand Duke fan's I've really had an issue with over the years on these boards.

People do kiss up to you, and I think you enjoy it. I'm just a fan like the rest of you, but don't see it the way some of you do. The hammer comes down as soon as anyone gets critical of the team, or when the team falls short. I think we underachieved the last 2 seasons, given the talent and hype that came with it. But boy, you have to be careful saying any of that, as any criticism gets a few firing shots back. No one fired a shot at Sky for his silly post, but I did one and your boy Show and Timo the Mod came swooping in. I kid around here more than most. None of this would be an issue had Show not responded. I was only kidding as was Sky. Now Show's acting like he did nothing. But it's ok for him to take shots though, right?
