HAve not noticed it nor do I believe it. Call me a "non-believer" in that regard....
And you might not have noticed it, but threats against the non believers has become a problem and wokes are a target of many of those threats.

Again- I disagree with his belief but also disagree with your statement.
If you have a strong opinion based on your personal beliefs, you should never feel you should just shut up.
I believe in his right to say what he believes, I believe in athlete’s rights to say what they believe, as well as kneeling and again- no one should “just shut up”.
but, I also believe all actions have results- you also have to understand what may come of your right to do anything.
People just shut up all the time, on an everyday basis. You just never know about it.
Imo, Harbaugh should have done so in this instance or figured out a more accurate, less insulting way of expressing what he wanted to say. Nothing controversial about pointing that out.
I do find it funny that many of those supporting Harbaugh say the exact opposite when it comes to NFL players, Hollywood actors, basically any public figure saying things they disagree with. Then they're very much in favor of, "Shut up and do your job." Every. Single. Time.
My problem isn't so much with Harbaugh speaking out against abortion as it is the insulting way he did it.
But whatever, Harbaugh's views on anything are of no actual consequence to me.
If Harbaugh had done it in a post game press conference or a pre-kickoff sideline TV interview it would be analogous. He didn't.
I don't even find it insulting- it is just a bit ignorant but it is the current take from those that do oppose it. Irony is that yes, he has a lot of players from single moms and maybe even very low income, if any... And he wouldn't have these great players if they were aborted. But he also doesn't realize that the same Mom may have have an abortion or two later so that she or they could afford to raise the one they already have.People just shut up all the time, on an everyday basis. You just never know about it.

actually JH was speaking at a pro life event , so it would have been brave to speak in favor of abortion.Thank You Jim Harbaugh and God Bless you for having the strength , belief and feelings of millions upon millions. People hate hearing that quote from Jeremiah since it speaks the actual truth. Everyone ALIVE today is only here because someone made the choice that they live. Ask them if they would prefer the alternative? Some will give a half assed reason why the subject should have remained untouched but even the late Rutgers graduate RBG knew this action was going to take place and could have been corrected 50 years back. This is more important than any sport and game . Soon there will be others who will stand for the unborn. You took the charge and created an actual awareness that people do care.
It was a pretty good thread where it seemed that most people were just having a good discussion and conversation without someone using it for their own agenda. Well...until now.Could not wait and it took you less than 10 minutes. Sorry it is a brave stance. Something which is going to become more pronounced going forward. Question: Are you glad or sad your birthing person decided to carry you to full term. The soul you speak of in Christianity begins at the moment of conception. My belief and probably a majority on this board. Forget the Hebrew spiel. I ‘m both Catholic and part Ashkenazi Jew so I put my own beliefs into the equation. The guy put himself out there unlike you and I. I also trust and believe that Life is a most precious gift which too many take for granted. Someday , we all will know if that Jewish Kid born in Bethlehem was really to be believed.
For now.you can make your own choice, just like Jim Harbaugh can do the same. It's a free country.
if you're talking about what I posted, you must have missed this at the endCould not wait and it took you less than 10 minutes. Sorry it is a brave stance. She made the right choice in your opinion and that is one of those instances which only she could choose. The entire point is only she can answer to that higher power and I do believe there is a much higher Devine Power. It was a pretty good thread where it seemed that most people were just having a good discussion and conversation without someone using it for their own agenda. Well...until now.
But I will also answer your question- my Mom was pregnant twice before she was able to actually birth her first child. In both the two previous pregnancies, there were complications during pregnancy that could have killed her and or made her unable to become pregnant again...So- if she had decided your way- I would most likely not be here and neither would my 5 brothers she did have later.
Carry on...
And with that said- I have no problem with Jim saying what he did and where he did. You can also have your opinion but since you posted it on neutral ground- I figured I was allowed the same.
Sorry pea brain suggest you refrain from being a complete tool. Your smart *** comment shows me you need to grow a pair someday.Time for bed grandpa.
I didn’t miss anything . I read and comprehend quite well even at 72. The guy used his platform in a time where he faces harsh criticism. Amazing to witness his commitment to his faith. Too many are lost and it shows everyday . Be happy your birthing parent chose correctly.if you're talking about what I posted, you must have missed this at the end
>Pro or anti abortion it shouldn't have to be considered an act of bravery to speak out on that issue, but you're right that Harbaugh was brave letting his feelings about the subject show, in today's society sharing your opinion on a controversial issue can be considered a brave act with the way people express outrage because one doesn't share their view on an issue and *****, moan and complain about what was an honest opinion and usually look for ways to insult the person who said what they didn't want to hear<
So your 10 minute comment could be considered invalid
Also all Christian domination aren't strongly anti abortion, some feel it's not against the tenets they follow and there is a division among the Jewish religion's ranks.
Some feel abortion is acceptable to them, others strongly oppose it
as for being born I'm happy I went full term and believe my children are as well.
But I'm of the opinion that a woman has the right to chose and there are good reasons to make the choice to abort the fetus before it becomes a living breathing person and am of the opinion that after 10 weeks unless the mother is in jeopardy or the fetus is not expected to survive I would want to see the pregnancy go full term.
But that choice should be the women's and the man involved not mine.
If for some medical reason they feel the fetus inside her will have serious healtrh issues after birth, I wouldn't condemn them for any choice they made
Didn’t think mature posts are required in reply to bizarre elderly ramblings about religious fairy tales and government control of our bodies.Very mature post
Time will tell if those religious fairy tales are true or false won’t you be happy. As of now we know one thing you lack any type of common dignity and religious hate is quite evident.Even for a Rutgers board that is sad.Didn’t think mature posts are required in reply to bizarre elderly ramblings about religious fairy tales and government control of our bodies.

Thats where this gets complicated. Whats the reasonable cut off where a perfectly healthy mother and healthy baby should be aborted? Because at a certain point in the pregnancy its barbaric to have an abortion imoHe has the right to believe what he believes. I have the right to not have the same belief. But no one has the right to fire him for his belief unless he starts using his beliefs in the wrong way.
Though- good majority of kids he is recruiting most likely have families that belive in women's rights.
Ehh people speak out more than ever on one side of the aisle. Conservatives are silenced.?
People speak out way more than they ever did. Sometimes they should just shut up, do their job and stick to what they know ...at least when whatever brain fart they have could interfere with that job.
Nearly 3/4 of americans believe abortion should be banned after 15 weeks. Which ironically is what got roe overturned when dobbs seeked to ban abortion after 15 weeks in Miss. and was challenged. It won't influence recruiting at all.
There's been a huge shift in abortion polling the last 15 years
The Hispanic immigrants from below the border do not do abortion, and they make up 70 to 80 million people now
The strongest supporter of abortion is an older white liberal male.
Young girls have cooled off to it more then people think due to things like Gosnell.
People think there should be abortion early on but not in the late term (over 80% are against that)
In states like Michigan they keep abortion just like other blue states
In the states that wont have it, there has long been a population leaning against it so players wont be in shock.
Plus, with a lot of athletes its a status symbol to have kids all over the place anyway.

Good for him he should be allowed , like we all should , to express our opinions .Agreed. Jim speaks his mind on a range of topics that might not be popular. He expressed them as his own views, and not those of UofM. Many public figures are afraid to speak their minds out of fear of cancellation.
I agree. I think 15 weeks is the hard stop outside of extenuating circumstances where for example mothers life at risk for example. Not really complicated. Put a term limit on it and move on. If you still don't like it, don't do it.
Refreshingly simple.
Young girls have definitely not cooled off lmao what?It won't influence recruiting at all.

Live your life and believe what you may but realize there are more who still have a belief in religion , God and yes an afterlife. Shame your birth parent/ parents failed you. You need to go and watch another episode of The Boys blackout7 it’ll help ease your pain.Didn’t think mature posts are required in reply to bizarre elderly ramblings about religious fairy tales and government control of our bodies.

47/50 euro countries have full abortion bans after 15 weeks or earlier. We still are the most progressive country on earth when it comes to abortion
If you think I’m frail and old because of my chronological age of 72 you would not be able to pick me out in a group of 50- 75 year olds. That’s what is funny as many of my fellow former season tix holders know. Several
So you are into Young Girls? Wow now that is sick.Young girls have definitely not cooled off lmao what?

former Rutgers football players who are 10-12,years younger but hey it’s all good blackout7. That name itself tells a great deal.
