Other than the obvious, the best thing about this deal is we will get to learn the sandwich preference of every player on the team

Just Subs is solid and we go there more often than Jersey Mike's (when eating at home). However, the value of JM is that they have really good subs and so many damn locations. By far the best chain sub shop.

FYI, my local place is Hoagie Hut on 28 in Somerville. Outstanding! They make their own steak sauce for cheesesteak subs.

Very happy to hear Hoagie Hut is still around.

Agree on Jersey Mike's. Solid option for parts of the country that don't have great local options everywhere.

That would be awesome. Grew up working right next to the 2nd JErsey Mikes and ate far too much. 30 years later there is one in my town and it’s a huge hit. 2000 locations globally. Best sub/wedge/hero there is.
Tasties Subs might have an argument for the best local subs in central NJ.

Will our 6th man be a "Sub" above? 😆
I think you have a NIL deal right there

Seriously? I'm ok with Jersey Mike’s RAC actually. Kinda has a cool decent ring to it. As good as any . As long as RU can pull in some more coin.
Thats kinda creepy. I'm not a fan of men's RACs....see below
Do the MILFs stay at the Hillsborough Deli, or do they, too, make the move to Jersey Mike’s?
Hillsborough Deli MILFs RAC sounds better to me..and it might draw in a bigger crowd every night.

It's been over 2 decades at least since I had a sub from Jersey Mike's so I honestly don't remember them. That said, I am a BIG big fan of Primo's Hoagies. How does Jersey Mike's stack up?

I think Primo's is better for hot subs, cheesesteaks and such and JM's is better for cold subs.

Neither are as good as whatever your local spot in NJ is

Joining the B1G has been huge for these naming rights. ~30 mil that's probably 10x from what we could get still in AAC or Big East.

This - as well as Riddle&Martin in South River.

I know this is gonna be a hot take but... I really don't care for Jersey Mike's, or them slapping their name on the RAC. But I know, $$$ talks.

If I'm forced to choose going to a franchise (vs. a local place), I would choose Just Subs, Primos and Jersey Mikes ahead of Tastees. All good though as everyone has their own tastes.

Glad to have a recognizable sponsor...still think of it as TheRac so hopefully that somehow gets incorporated when people say the full name in the future.

Also, if they dont go beyond their 2-3 premade sandwiches being sold, I'd have a pretty poor impression of what I would get if i actually went into their stores. They're doing themselves a great disservice. I realize you might need the fast turnaround for serving, but after eating a sandwich from the stadium i def wouldnt have interest in eating in their brick and mortar shop.

When it was just the kiosk and not an actual concession item they were much better.

Oh cmon, somebody has to say it. The Rutgers rumour mill is moving from Subway to Jersey Mike’s.
Why would you ever listen to rumors in a Subway shop? They are all from out of town! Nobody from NJ would think they can make a good sub. Garbage. The worst day old bread, pre-sliced smelly cold cuts. You are trusting anyone that goes there with reliable info???

Radio wise we are less then we have ever been.
WhiteBus, can you get the sports stations 97.3 or 93.5 FM where you are. 93.5 is a big improvement over 1450AM for Central New Jersey and The Shore areas. 97.3 covers a lot of South Jersey and even reaches up to Manchester/Brick/Toms River.

Jeez I remember the old hoagie hut that was right on 28, where the quick check stands right now. My pop would stop and get scrambled eggs from there on the way to soccer (fields behinds vo-tech).

Believe those were the first fields I ever played soccer on.
