Seriously? I’m okay with Jersey Mike’s RAC actually. Kinda has a cool decent ring to it. As good as any . As long as RU can pull in some more coin.
That would be awesome. Grew up working right next to the 2nd JErsey Mikes and ate far too much. 30 years later there is one in my town and it’s a huge hit. 2000 locations globally. Best sub/wedge/hero there is.
Probably the name of a new sandwich to be served there. I’ll have The Rac mikes way.
But yeah not sure about Jersey Mikes Rac
I think PiscatawayMike's Athletic Center has a better ring to it.

Its white block outside.. you do not paint that. But clean it? re-point it? yeah.
And if they do that I will try them and see if I can become a somewhat regular customer.
As for renovation... suspend a new roof above the current one with pillars outside the current structure.. then they can go wrap-around seating inside and blow out the concourse walls and remove the current roof and the giant pillars supporting it. The only thing about the cantilevered roof is jersey heavy wet snow... it may have to be one of those peaked circus-tent-looking roofs. Or maybe like Rostov airport..

Just Subs is solid and we go there more often than Jersey Mike's (when eating at home). However, the value of JM is that they have really good subs and so many damn locations. By far the best chain sub shop.
FYI, my local place is Hoagie Hut on 28 in Somerville. Outstanding! They make their own steak sauce for cheesesteak subs.
I think this would only help. Would give the University a powerful NIL partner.
I love how jersey mikes steps up to partner with rutgers athletics and people start to rattle off places they like better.

but next time I go in the Jersey Mike's I get my subs at,
will be wearing my Rutgers gear.

They remind me of how p[eople dissed Miami football fans saying they stand on corners wearing U gear, but don't support the team by showing up top games.
These , I know a better place, people support Rutgers as fans but found a way to diss a company that is helping Rutgers.

The current SHI deal is for 7.
But I would;t be surprised if the Jersey Mike's deal is for 10
