What’s lost in this translation about “number of road wins”...is that we have played a ridic oTOUGH road schedule

How many teams have played 7 road games against teams that will Go to the NCAA. Not neutral site game ...we played SEVEN road games against teams that will dance???

That’s the exception and the mitigating factor for the “three road wins rule”.

Throw in the margin of victory in all of those games is LOW...that makes the exception even more notable

people generally don’t model for exceptions.
the models likely aren’t robust enough to include a team with only 1 road win. Has that ever happened? A minimum number of road wins is likely an underlying assumption, which is why the models fall short. Your going to need human intervention to account for the Rutgers exception.

Just realized Seton Hall has the #12 SOS while we have the #27 SOS. I think this is because of the pumping up (perhaps unfairly) of some of the Big East mid-pack teams.

I think Seton Hall has a great team this year and is a legit NC threat, but if we had Seton Hall’s schedule I feel like we would also have 21 wins.

Still think, we are in, the worst we drop to is Dayton, barring a lot of conference tournament upsets

Also loved the stat that 9 of our 11 losses are to current top 25 teams. Almost all our losses were close on top of that. Just take a minute and think about how inlresses our losses are on top of all the other quality wins and high NET and then look at some of these bubble teams resumes. It really isnt close
