of the remaining top recruits.

I know opinions are very mixed on Meyer. However, according to his predictions he does not think UK gets any of the remaining top recruits.

I tweeted him to ask him if he really thought that....

@jerrymeyer247 according to Crystalball you really don't see UK landing any of the remaining top guys? You have them all going elsewhere

We were only in good standing with 2 of them (Newman and Zimmerman). Zimmerman seems to be leaving UNLV. No idea about Newman.

He could be right. We might not get another one.

He followed this by saying Maker is the only one he thinks could pick UK but that he won't be playing in college.

Would be pretty shocking (and disappointing) for Cal to miss on all of them.

What a joke. Just another clown wanting hits from UK fans. When will you guys learn that these hacks know about as much as we fans know on where this top recruits are headed? I guarantee at least 2 more commit to UK or I will not post on this board again! How's that?! You don't see Jerry McGuire going out on a limb like that now do you? Chalk it up! Kentucky, at a minimum, lands two more of these top recruits or my name's not KWilt43atbuzz!!!

Jerry Meyer is a clown who talks in circles...he also said all 3 of these things in the course of a few hours:

Jerry Meyer @jerrymeyer247 ¡P Apr 9

Although Kentucky is trending in the #Crystalball for Stephen Zimmerman, UNLV is still right in there & perhaps the team to beat.

6 of the top 10 are available and 1 or 2 more in top 25. We have the stage and playing time is available. Zimmerman, Brown, Newman, Rabb, Maker and Diallo will all pass on what Cal and UK have had to offer the last 6 years???? I would be shocked if we don't land 2 of them.

wouldn't that be a kick in Cals plan, after encouraging seven to go, at least three of which should have stayed!

Meyer knows nothing. None of them know anything. They play a game to get people to subscribe to their sites. The crystal ball is the biggest joke. Like percentages are going to swing weekly or even multiple times in the course of a day... idiots.

Maybe this class is full of morons. Because that's what it would take to choose unlv, UCLA, Miss. St., st. John's or Indiana over us, especially considering we have 4 open roster spots.

Ingram is likely to stay in North Carolina and Kentucky has never been a leader for Brown, likely to go Addidas.

That won't be the end of the world. Cal can add a 5-year player and maybe another transfer. UK has a starting line-up of 5-star recruits in Labissiere, Briscoe, Ulis, Lee and Poythress. Not a Final Four team, but a fun team to watch.
A few days before they committed, 247 - and Meyer - had Briscoe to St. John's and Skal to Memphis.

Just judging by the way you forecast, would it be out of line for me to assume you didn't have either of those kids picking Kentucky a week before they actually picked Kentucky?

I trust call 110% percent when it comes to recruiting. We will get at least two recruits.

Looks like we will get to see what Cal can do without a "loaded" roster...

Cal's plan has worked pretty well so far and I don't expect him to change anytime soon. He doesn't push players out the door but he does gather information from NBA teams and gives an honest assessment to each player. The final decision is the players' and their families.

I'm not saying theses guys do or don't know something. But, it's not just Meyer's opinion. If you look at all the "experts" picks, they seem to agree that UK may strike out.

Could this be why Cal may have interest in the Charlotte transfer?

That line-up looks like it would have trouble on offense.Lee and Poy are not good offensively,Tyler is not a high volume scorer.

Meyer knows nothing. However, everyone expecting UK to turn around and be a top team next year are crazy. You can't lose 7 of your best players and compete for a national title. It is a VERY tall task.

Trolling. It's a curious thing to me. Even now, this far into the Internet age, I find it hard to believe someone would go to the trouble of starting and maintaining an Internet persona built on a lie, that he is part of a comity that he really ardently opposes. Who has the time and energy for that? Hard to fathom. I say that to say it's not the first thing that crosses my mind when I see someone here critical of Cal and UK.

But the OP......I wonder.......

Why is he a goof because he doesn't feel the same way you do...He very well might be right and certainly is unless the three don't mind going overseas ...What happened to kids staying around and getting an education if they know their chances are low of getting drafted if not getting passed over altogether...

People, Jerry Meyer knows about as much into our recruiting situation as Obama knows about foreign Policy. Not much.

I talk to Greg, an old Source from TBK who actually has some connections into these things. I have personally seen him own recruiting info, and as a matter of fact, he told me Briscoe was committing to UK when everyone else thought we lost him to St. Johns.

When will people learn that Meyer and this crystal ball thing are completely useless in tight recruiting situations. He's guessing, and he's guessing badly.

Normally you'd be right, but almost every other top team was similarly gutted

we return 3 players with a lot of experience, that's much different than 2013
