Is that all you got Spelling Nazi? Just read the post and stop trying to be an old lady grammar and spelling queen. Obviously, you're lonely and need attention. Everyone makes mistakes, but you and your kind just troll boards spell checking everyone to try and make yourself look smart. Usually ends up like this for you "looking like an arrogant A-HOLE". You started trolling me with with your first smart *** quote, I love Ignore and now you at the top of my list.

Who hurt you lil guy? There is a difference between being HURT and being INJURED. If a guy needs to sit 5 straight practices over swelling then fine, but you'll get no sympathy from me when you're getting zero mpg due to the 4 other guys ahead of you (whom on all accounts are better players, & all higher ranked) battling daily in practice.

"Can't make the club in the tub". Phillip Rivers played 2 NFL playoff games on a torn ACL. But hey our guy has a swollen knee from a surgery he had a year ago. it's fine. Maybe he's related to Derrick Rose & needs 3 seasons off to get right. Hopefully he has realistic expectations when he does finally suit up and does not pout or wanna transfer when he's getting in the game with Brad & Dillon around the :30 remaining mark.
There absolutely has to be something wrong with you. If he's sitting 5 straight practices it's because the team doctor told him to sit. Do you not understand this? We are at the beginning of August and they are trying to make sure he's doing the right thing for the long term. Just an unbelievably stupid take.

I get it, but I'm not sure this is the team you wanna be taking your sweet time with after sitting out over a year. Green, Quickley, Herro, Hagans, are hungry for minutes.
If Baker gets in shape and has a game, he will play. He wasn’t recruited here to sit. Even Brad plays. What you don’t want is for Baker to be rushed and develop a longer term issue with the knee.

Just give him a shot of Bute and his knees will be fine. That’s what they did to Stage Door Johnny and he won the Derby just to lose out when they gave him a damn drug test. Winner, Forward Pass Calumet Farm.

Now do we have any old horse guys like me that remember that Derby?
I think you mean Native Dancer not SDJ.

Good grief. How long has it been since UK hasn't had a player with injury issues?

I was just thinking this same thing.

Baker knee issue
Baker/Vanderbilt
Poythress knee
WCS (I think foot)
Randles random fits of cramps
Noel knee

I feel I'm missing one or 2, but that's just in the last 5 years or so. Insane.

You really think a statue like pocket passer is comparable to playing basketball (or even about every other position in football even a scrambling QB) as far as strain on a knee?

I may not be remembering accurately but didn't even he need to play a ton out of shotgun to compensate?

I don't think you can play much hoops with the kind of brace, an apples to maybe hamburgers comparison.
They are both food but that is about far as it goes.

Dude, Google Dajuan Blair, then get back to me about your "I don't think play hoops.." comment.

Hopefully he will get better and get to play this year. Put yourself in his shoes and you know he wants to play. Praying he gets well.

Hey clown, players can sit with or without DR approval.. Rose, Leonard, hell even Vanderbilt was cleared to play but chose to sit. If you are injured so be it, if you are hurt you need to fight thru it sometimes. Dudes have played with broken bones, torn acls, matter of fact there was a guy in the NBA who played with NO ACL. You can be Adrien Peterson (win MVP 8 months after blowing out your knee by working your butt off to get back) or you can be D. Rose (take 3 years off to recover).

What the hell is the matter with you man. I should have quoted your other post but its nit worth my time to search for it. Baker is an elite shooter, as in, former UK and current pro players have said he is the best shooter they have ever played with or against. He has a knee issue, and why play him in the summer if its flaring up. Just let him get better and then he can play. Why do you have to act like a jackwagon? And call him out?

I hate that he's had to wait so long to get on the court. It's stinks for the fans, but I'm sure it's agonizing for him. could you imagine being on the other side of the country, unable to do the business you came to do? I just hope it isn't something that lingers all season.

Every one of your posts get dumber and dumber. I would imagine if we had a big game coming up and he was one of our main players he would be out there playing. But this is bonus practice at the beginning of August getting ready to play exhibition games in the Bahamas. And you want him to go out there on a surgically repaired knee and play anyway even with swelling in that knee. I believe you are the one who is a clown.

Giles was injured before he ever set foot on campus. I'll give you Irving, obviously.

Doesn't compare to WCS, Poythress, Randle, Noel, etc. And three of those were crucial to a possible/likely title.
Don't forget Derek Anderson....he was POY candidate when he tore his acl....easy title with him and Mercer.

I feel bad for him. His great shooting ability would be a plus to this team, and he wants to play and be a good teammate. He already had to sit out his entire first year with his injury, and although it was a redshirt year and he still has four years of eligibility, I'm sure he really wants to play again.

Hey sweetie , I'm sorry my opinion hurt your lil feelings. if you and JB want to sit out another season, cool. I think Herro, IQ, Hagans, & Quade will suffice. <insert snowflake emoji>

This is exactly why I feel Kentucky needs 1 more scholorship player. Let’s say this is a lingering injury and then 2 more players get injured during the season. Now we’re down to 7 scholarship players. Last year we had 3 guys out most the year. But we had 11 total scholarship players... 10 just doesn’t seem like enough. You’re allowed 13. Not saying we need that many . But I think 11-12 is ideal

There is no anger in that post my friend. I even typed the words "I'm sorry", and "sweetie", thus I disagree with your analysis of my comment. Regardless, I wish you nothing but prosperity & happiness. Have a great Monday morning.
