UNC, if that is who it is for the Final Four, would be favored probably by 3 or 4 against UK without PJ. There have been tons of bigger upsets in the tourney than this would be. Just don’t get many peoples mindsets on this board.

I agree, with this team it seems to be about pieces and parts. When we miss one it’s not so much about talent missing as it is about how this team worked so well together with the players we have. Missing PJ doesn’t help our team play as well.

We beat UNCheat by 8. PJ had 11 points in that game so it’s not out of the question we could keep it close and beat them again. But even if PJ is back and Higgins shows up, we couldn’t beat Transylvania.:grimace:

I think we could beat Ohio state without PJ but not Houston. Hopefully we don’t have to find out. If we lose I want to lose with our best team on the floor,

Jay is always positive about teams in situations like this, especially given how good we are even short handed. It makes no sense to say they can’t make a final four. We also have one of the best tournament coaches I’ve seen especially before the final four.
