If we lose without our starter, it’s becuase we were never that good anyway or our opponent is the greatest team since sliced bread.
THAT’S where Bilas gets on my nerves. He’ll make every excuse in the world for Duke. But anyone else losses and it’s becusee they suck.
Without PJ we have to get around 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks between Nick and EJ to have any chance.

Not many teams could make it to the final 4 without their best player.
We’ve basically played the majority of our games since we played Auburn back in February without either Travis or Washington. Obviously we had both for the SEC tourney, but Travis was limited and Washington sat in Foul trouble a fair amount of time.
So you all think if ohio state beats houston and washington beats unc, and Auburn, that we cant beat ohio state, and Washington to go to the final 4 without pj?
I don’t care for Bilas but most people would say the same thing. Odds would definitely be stacked against us.

I believe the assumption is UNC would be in the way. Obviously if North Carolina loses I believe the region is ours for the taking with or without PJ
I think it’s just HOW he says things. Like I mentioned earlier, he’ll make every excuse and dance around the issue for Duke but then just comes out and takes a bludgeon to UK. Just never seems to give us solid credit sometimes unless we are just heads and shoulders legendary above everyone else (i.e. 2012).

See? Jay does not agree with my “anything can happen” belief. He has no idea what player might catch fire and carry a team to a championship. Doesn’t have to be a Cinderella team, it’s usually a player. We need our to be Keldon, EJ, Nick...and let the others play as well as they can play too VS freak show odd misses and phantom foul calls.
Sorry auburn and unc are no super teams. They are both winnable games without pj. We also have the best coach on the planet to pump the other guys up who take his mins. He’s also undermining Reid who can put up 20and 10 on anyone in the country. I got a salad bilas can toss. Loud mouth usually wrong sob. Since watching this on tru Tbs And cbs I don’t miss jay bilas and Seth at all. Especially when Barkley is on he kills it. Far better commentary from real players.
