Nah, this time it won’t be in our favor. Unfortunately.

At this point I almost hope he goes to Tech just to prove how full of **** these insiders are. He was a lock to Kentucky all day and now he’s a BYU lock. Either way it goes, no one will convince me Cal had all his eggs in the Haarms basket.

I rarely have solid sources, but I had a great source in the Murray recruitment who told me Memorial Day weekend (about a month before he committed), he was pretty sure Murray was going to UK or the NBA. That one did not come down to the last minute.

Nothing against our insiders, they do solid work. Sure they miss on a few. But I will never, ever spend one dollar on a premium subscription. That goes for HOB or ESPN Insider. Too many sources of sports information out there to justify a subscription. No one knows everything.

I tend to agree with you. More often than not, you can find the same and/or similar information elsewhere for free if you know where to look.

I think what most people pay for with the premium subscription is more specific details about what is happening or what has occurred that you typically don’t hear analyst say publicly.

However, I still think it [premium subscriptions] is a nice option for people who are really into recruiting and enjoy reading the access they are given.

Jaylen Brown, Wiggins, Blackshear, Cade, McDaniels, and Zion are coming to Kentucky guys. I have so many sources confirming. They’re legit

Yeah I mean we now know he was solid to Kentucky because he played at Kentucky. You are also clearly remembering it wrong too because Murray wasn’t eligible for the 2015 NBA draft, and didn’t even commit to Kentucky until June anyway, so even if he was eligible he would’ve had to declare for the draft before June. Right before he committed the word was that he was going to Oregon and I remember everyone freaking out about an Oregon player saying Murray committed to Oregon.

I remember watching that thinking it was a done deal, and how shocked I was when he picked UK. That being said, I've stopped having any hope we get bigs anymore. Even marginal ones.

Jai Lucas to UK. Patrick Patterson to Duke or Florida.

Wow, Jai Lucas is a name I have completely blocked out of my memory. Its sad to think how back then he was the crown jewel we were after that was going to make or break our future. Shows how far we have come since then.

Mintz, Clarke, Boston, Brooks, Jackson can be a very formidable 5. Cal just has to let them play like the 2017 team. first one to a 100 wins.

Man that sounds good but we all know Cal isn't going to change . Its not what Cal does . Even if he did play faster for 90% of the game he's going to grind going grind when the last minutes hit .

I don't know why you guys always do this to yourselves. Over the last 11 seasons, how many recruits were we not favored for? We lost 90% of them. But because we got a couple that people didn't think we'd get--you always cling to it and act as if the recruiting guys are stupid for picking against Calipari. The the player picks someone else--you shut up and fade into the darkness.

And then when the next high profile recruit is picking schools and they're predicted to go to Duke, you'll pop out of the shadows and say "LOL 'MEMBER WHEN THEY SAID JAMAAL MURRAY WOULD GO TO OREGUN?! KENTUCKY EATS FIRST!!!"

He was eligible for the draft. He chose UK over Oregon and the NBA. I talked to an assistant coach at Oregon (his wife is a UK grad too) who offered up info that he didn’t think they would get him at that point. He was right.

You have to turn 19 during the year you are drafted. Murray turned 19 in 2016. He was not eligible for the 2015 Draft

A lot of them don't fade into the darkness, they start this crap of we didn't really want him anyway-the other school paid him-he is crazy for going somewhere else-he just ruined his career because he didn't pick the Cats-he wasn't that good anyway. You hear this over and over every year. This is a big reason that other fan bases hate Kentucky, it is called either arrogance or cockiness, and it makes these people look stupid.
