Im sure I could Google it, but is Jamal Crawford really this much-needed assistant? I know he had a heck of an NBA career, but i don't see any coaching history for him.
He would help us with freshmen, hopefully. Plus Dudah you know you can always cheer for Arkansas, they might be decent this year. I know you getting off to shitting on parades and all but its annoying. Majority of the ones who are still mad are just those who miss Calipari. Our boosters didn't like Cal, and he stopped trying here. If Pope has a healthy roster and still does bad then its up for criticism but even dudes like Running, and Midseason are being postive.
He coaches AAU and his son is a beast in like the 2029 class I think it is. Number 1 player type beast.
You can learn to tag and I will root for Arkansas when hell freezes over. Don’t tell me how to fan. Sorry I’m not okay with 10 plus loss seasons. Sue me.

I dont always love hiring coaches to get their kids. But its a new age i guess.
100 percent agree but supposedly he carries serious weight in the AAU/HS scene. If he comes and actually gets us other great players, not just his son, it’s a money hire.

I actually think he might come for real. I just don’t think Pope is dumb enough to leave an assistant position open in his most important recruiting season of his career unless he knew he had him locked up. However? Wouldn’t you want to use him during your most important recruiting stretch?

I am certain hes keeping that spot open for Crawford, I just think Crawford is insane if he leaves the announcing gig for an assistant job with a struggling coach that's about to lose his ad safety blanket.
Of course Pope can and hopefully will turn it around, but its a huge risk when you consider the safety and ease of announcing.
