No way I would play that last game if I'm NB. Go into the playoffs healthy, u got nothing to prove playing a rivalry game the last game. Kids are going to lose it and try to get yall to lose it, we had them trying to fight 2nite smh
Don’t have much choice. It probably has seeding implications. New Bern may be going for a number 1 seed.
If they win the conf they will probably have that anyway... This game should never have been scheduled like this
Better than I thought a week ago. Looking back I think Havelock and WRH both just had a bad night. Ram60 and Me talked about this after the game tonight. We didn't help ourselves with penalties and turnovers. Gotta give Havelock credit while they had penalties too they protected the ball much better. Kamarro Edmonds is head above shoulders better than any other player on the field. He really stood out tonight. I'm encouraged by what I saw in the first half from our guys. We seemed to match up well but the mistakes just got us in a hole we were not disciplined enough to overcome. Gotta learn and move on.
Up 19-0 and continually hitting late out of bounds?? I guess kids were getting upset. There was no need in that and the taunting afterwards. It was a good hard fought game clearly dominated by Havelock. There is no need in the late hits out of bounds
Got to admit, Havelock has the D. I figured WC could have scored at least 2 TDs testing the middle of the field. Will be interesting to see if West Craven tested the middle of the field at all? Havelock keeps rolling stringing those wins together. Good win.
Being too kind to my falcons. Injuries, youth, and depth have made SC a shell of who they were. After the injuries again tonight it's going to be a long season.

Oh so what the refs say is the end all truth now? So yall gonna give us the ball on the opening kickoff back too, cuz the refs called him down but the pictures in the sun journal clearly show the ball falling while he was still running lol. As a matter of fact, if u look at channel 9 news they show ot clear as day lmao!!! Clean hit by #1 on the qb, yall #7 came n and hit our 10 late and a scuffle started... then the flags were thrown lol!!! Like I said that eye in the sky doesn't lie no matter what yall mad kids came back n told u happened smh
I'm certainly not knocking any of the Craven teams, I have respect for all 3. However, to me personally not scheduling a rivalry game before the playoffs for fear of kids being suspended for dirty play is asinine. If the kids aren't disciplined enough to control their emotions as 17 and 18 year olds, it's going to be a tough road ahead in life. If the coaches can't control them, what are we really teaching these young men?

I'm not saying dont schedule it, but why the week b4 playoffs start when this game has no implications on they season? Either do it early or not at all... Discipline can go out the window when u dealing with kids that know each other already, dont like each other, and emotions get to flying. We can act like these kids should be perfect but if that was the case we would never see all the failure stories we see EVERY year
