Read the thread. Not slighting either of those teams. I responded to the poster who's said he will go to Buffalo. Either of those programs are better options than RU right now.Why are you slighting Army and Buffalo? One team destroyed us and the other would surely beat us as well. Army is headed towards another Bowl game and Buffalo will play in one also.
If Hayek goes to UB and plays under Leipold he is hardly making a poor decision by decomitting from Rutgers and choosing to do so.
I am tired of reading these two things on this board at the same time:
-Ash can’t be fired because we owe him too much money
- Hobbs shouldn’t be fired over botching the football coaching hire because he is such a good fundraiser.
Both those things can’t be true.
Give me a break. If your son played football would you let him commit to chris ash? This program is an absolute dumpster fire. It’s over for ash. He will never get it going here. Time to start over.I think it is strange for him to decommit because Rutgers would do good for him even if the team wasn't winning. His offer list isn't that great.
I think we might be doomed for real
This is a terrible sign of things to come. The message it's saying is loud and clear--the Hayek family , including parents and boys on the team, are voting no as far as confidence in Ash and future direction of the team.Terrible.
2 brothers on team, a family that supported RU and can’t keep him.
Ash must go!!
People shouldn't extrapolate on this, not yet anyway.
Hayek family probably is not too happy over their kids lack of playing time. Hunter has been passed on the depth chart, and Tyler is buried on it. Like one board poster said recently, they likely just aren't FBS material.
Uh oh. I've seen this before.
Karl your mom is calling you. Time to get out of her basement and head over to your cult meeting on how psu can still make the playoffs. Don't forget your thermos and lunch box when you leave mom's house. I'm sure she packed a cookie for you.Not FBS material? They sound perfect for Rutgers then.
Congrats to Monmouth then. Getting a great kid.
The same time it became OK to go out in public in your pajamas. These kids got to stop begging for "respect".. demanding "respect".
Saying "Please respect my decision" has appeared in so many of these things.. when did that become a "thing"?
This decommit is really worrisome due to the fact he has brothers on the team. What are they telling him that he can't see with his own eyes?
This is more it. Both brothers buried on a depth chart where some younger playmakers are starting to emerge.People shouldn't extrapolate on this, not yet anyway.

Yup. Remember that well.Veterans of the board will recall that it's a quote from a poster here named Mr.Treeman that I used as my signature for a long time.Who said this?
He posted it about Greg Schiano back in 2004, when it looked to him like GS wasn't gonna win here.
I thought it was appropriate to post it now.
like who wants to come into this circus, ash cant draw flies with a bucket of honeyI think it's a positive. Hopefully, the other 2 leave & open up some scholarships.
Agree big time with this...Ash is dead man walking because he **** on Jersey when he got here and can’t recruit.I would love to see Ash fired before the next game. Let's see what the OC can do as interim HC. As for Hobbs, I would give him one more chance at the right hire. He nailed it on the b-ball HC.I am tired of reading these two things on this board at the same time:

Ok, so the kid is bum, his brothers are bums, so that is at least one and maybe as many as three scholarships freed up. So what? It is not like these kids are going to be replaced by anybody better, if you are telling me that we have 4 star recruits just waiting for these scholarships to open up, then yes, this is a positive development. However, we all know that is not the case and in fact the kids next in line are probably not even as good. I couldn't care less about these brothers, what I care about is the failure of Chris Ash to recruit top talent and coach the kids that are here no matter what their abilities. So, where's he going? Colgate, Fordham or UMass?
Bad News: He decommitted
Good News: No great loss
Seriously. Players of that caliber is why Rutgers is getting blown out by teams like Kansas and Buffalo.
And if that's the best Ash can do in a state that has tremendous talent and plays in the B1G, then Ash has to go. Period. I know that harsh. But it's true.
Imagine these programs, most of whom would kick Rutgers ***, saying we are losing recruits to Rutgers.Cincinnati, Temple, Army, Buffalo, UMass. That's who we're losing recruits to now. Very telling.
they did but buffalo is going to a bowl game this yearlol..
Army rolled mighty Buffalo yesterday ..just saying..
You obviously don't respect his wishes. What's the problem? These kids got to stop begging for "respect".. demanding "respect".

What?Agree big time with this...Ash is dead man walking because he **** on Jersey when he got here and can’t recruit.

.
Feel free to explain how he did that because many coaches in NJ also support him. NJ HS coaches are fickle to begin with.Agree big time with this...Ash is dead man walking because he **** on Jersey when he got here and can’t recruit.
