Lol he's Reggie Miller.
I've never seen so many fans on a players sac like Allen before. It really is astonishing.
Make 20 bad plays in a game but he sure can make that 3 pointer shot way out yunder

Who recruited them? Who put this mess together? Who continually refuses to bring in players that can shoot and aren’t just “long athletes”? Who uses an archaic offense? I’ll hang up and listen.I’m not saying Cal doesn’t have some fault, but this team just is not very good. We just don’t have any player that create an advantage against the defense who can then create a shot or draw a double to get others open. Our offense looks like we are just struggling to complete passes like we are trying to run clock. I mean we are still running guys off a pick to catch a ball going away from the basket 5 ft outside of the 3pt line with less than 10 sec on the shot clock.
if we play Alabama ten times they are going to average beating us by 12-15 pts. They are just a better team than us this year.
The stupid in this post burns incredibly hot! LOL. So he missed A shot? Good thing none of our other players miss a shot. Oh wait! They rarely ever make one.He missed a crucial 3 when you could have went up 5.
And who recruited this team? Cal has no one to blame but himselfI’m not saying Cal doesn’t have some fault, but this team just is not very good. Who put this team together and seems to be making them worse? We turned it over 17 times. 4 of those were Mintz. 3 of those were Allen.
And there lies the problem. The same guys that can make shots and you want to rely on down the stretch are the same ones coughing the ball up.
Frankly this is just a bad team.
Poor scouting is one thing but what is infuriating is that he is not valuing guard depth overall when the game is centered there these days. No excuse to have such few options. And who recruited this team? Cal has no one to blame but himself
Who put this team together and seems to be making them worse?
In the last 86 minutes that Askew has played, he has scored 5 points and as we know, in the UGA game, he had a ton of turnovers.
Allen had 12 points in the 25 minutes he played last night on 4-7 shooting and 2 more assists.
Yet we have an idiot in here trying to tell people they are nuts for wanting Allen to play more minutes.
Askew can't play in games like this… .yet. Maybe in a couple more years, but not right now, yet he was in the game during crunch time. Not smart
Dude don’t get your panties in a wad,he missed a crucial 3 that’s all I said. The stupid in this post burns incredibly hot! LOL. So he missed A shot? Good thing none of our other players miss a shot. Oh wait! They rarely ever make one.
He will never get Askew draftedCal's in-game decision have led me to believe he has given up on this season and giving some players "on-the-job" training (such as Askew), in an attempt to get them drafted. It really seems to be Cal's #1 goal and I never would have said that til now.
Allen passed up a handful of open shots and doesn’t work to get open.
Are we still acting like he’s the savior of the season?
Name one person who said Allen was our savior?Nothing is going to be different until Cal adapts or leaves.Allen passed up a handful of open shots and doesn’t work to get open.
Are we still acting like he’s the savior of the season?
And next season isn't looking much better if you want to be honest.Pretty soon Allen will get shifted to Fletcher and people will be saying that he needs to play and that's the savior of our season. Until he comes in and produces about the same as everyone else and then we are saying well just wait until Clarke gets better and comes back into the team.
And maybe by the end of all of this we will just realize that this team as a whole isn't very good.
I didn’t quote anyone did I?Name one person who said Allen was our savior?Nothing is going to be different until Cal adapts or leaves.
This isn't true. If we were good enough to take the lead at the 4 minute mark of the 2nd half, we were good enough to win the game.Let's be honest here. While the substitution patterns are bizarre and it makes sense to play your best players especially when the game is on the line, that's not the reason we lost.
We lost because we just aren't good. Even the guys people are begging to get playing time down the stretch.
Did you see what happened in the last four minutes of this game? It wasn't just missed shots. We turned it over a boat load of trips. The same issue we've had since game 1. You could have the best shooters in the world but it doesn't matter if 1) you can't get the shot off which is something some of our players have an issue with (it's like they are afraid to shoot) and 2) you turn it over before you can shoot it.
What I saw down the stretch was one team knowing how to execute and make plays and the other cannot. Just one really good team and one really poor team.
But they handle the ball more than everyone else and those two players are a huge reason why they were in a position to win the game.We turned it over 17 times. 4 of those were Mintz. 3 of those were Allen.

We missed shots and turned the ball over several times during the game, but the guys fought back and took the lead several times, if you can do that, you can win.
But you aren't going to win too many games with the lineup Cal had in at the end of the game. THAT is a total head scratcher.
Where can I find the +/- for each game? But they handle the ball more than everyone else and those two players are a huge reason why they were in a position to win the game.
I don’t understand how anyone can knock Mintz or Allen for their play last night. Both guys were + on the night.
Missed shots isn't the problem the number of shots we take are. We play the grind it out game way too much. This team need to run, because they don't have the ability to get the ball inside in a set offense. When we get it inside and get a little bump we can't finish through the contact. Yes Allen missed a crucial shot, plenty of great players miss game winning shots, no one makes them all!He missed a crucial 3 when you could have went up 5.
You need to apply for Cal’s job when he leaves.Cal is quite possibly the worst late game coach in the history of college basketball,
It’s always been his number one goal. Nothings changed, except his recruiting. Bunch of blind squirrels around here.Cal's in-game decision have led me to believe he has given up on this season and giving some players "on-the-job" training (such as Askew), in an attempt to get them drafted.
