And I’m sorry when I’m negative. I really just want us to win and be good and sometimes I let my frustrations get the best of me.

I think Higgins in 2015 and 2 years ago just broke me lol.... I’ve been negative too much and just waiting for the next bad thing to gut punch us sometimes but I’ve been a lot more positive the last month and I’m gonna try and make this positivity stay

Put me in the column of being okay with this being posted again.............if only for the single reason that it might teach some to quit doubting Cal’s ability to bring young teams along. Or at the very least, to temper their propensity for shooting from their hip immediately after a disappointing loss. I realize some losses are very, very frustrating. Believe me, I do.

Unfortunately, some will still make fools of themselves come the next loss, or in lieu of any outcome other than a final four, or even a title. Kudos to the ones that “manned up” though.

Getting a top 2 class doesn’t matter if you don’t return anyone. Or if you return players who do virtually nothing positive. Richards and Green have been duds. Last year was the same way. Can’t win with the way he’s recruiting unless you get a guy who separates himself.

You say passionate, I say emotionally unstable.

These are the types our coach and players have gone on record claiming they have to ignore for the betterment of the program. Instead of tshirt night, the school needs to do us all a favor and sponsor Lithium night for these people.

This is a cautionary tale explaining why it's unwise to post in anger and frustration. There is little doubt, we all get angry and frustrated. If you're like me, you may experience the entire range of emotions during pretty much every game. And that's why I don't post during games, unless we're winning by 30.

I know that this level of negativity has died down in the month since, but I want to make a brief note of this.

Fans, even good fans, often state this about the Wisconsin loss, and I do think it's true in the relative sense, but can we talk about what it means in the absolute sense?

Cal's performance before the Wisconsin loss is far, far, far, far better than UK's performance historically.

Cal after the Wisconsin loss is still above UK's historical winning percentage (he's at 76.6 since then - UK all time is 76.4%).

Let that sink in.

When your coaches buy-out is 86 million, and he's under a lifetime contract, this is what we as fans get. A coach that is unwilling to adapt. The dude has been doing the same exact same **** for years now. Refuses to run any sets for certain players. Refuses to run out-of-bounds plays. Refuses to modernize his offense. Refuses to zone. Even situational.

So here we are now. Probably headed to be unranked again, and Kansas will pass us in all-time wins this season.

Thinking about it in my lifetime, Hall is the only coach that went out on good terms. Could argue Rupp, but he was forced out due to age. Sutton, Pitino, Smith, the drunk, and now Cal. Can’t see him going out on better terms than any, except maybe Sutton and BCG. And it could even get to that level, all depending upon him turning things around quickly, or walking away sooner than later.
