Pinky can be tricky, I played hoops in to 40+ league and took a foul on the hand as I went up inside. Pinky was pointing straight out to the right. Thought was dislocated pulled it, twisted it and brought the pinky back to normal position. 2 hours later it still hurt very badly,, I went to the ER, and it was a spiral fracture of the 5th metacarpal. ER doc asked if I had seen a doctor already because it was perfectly set.. I explained I had set the finger myself on the court….he was a bit surprised…and yes hurt like a mother..

that said I did not see his pinky pointed out like mine was.

Just got home and fast forwarded to that play, since I wanted to see what happened and it was definitely the ball hitting his finger straight on as he was jostled by the IL player, which caused him to not be able to catch the ball cleanly (was absolutely a foul). He walked right by us coming off the court and was holding his pinky like it was badly jammed or dislocated. Having had a few of those over the years, they hurt like a mofo, but I would think he'd be able to at least play some, although Pike also might want to rest him for a game so he has a whole week to heal up. Tough call. RHJ played great tonight with 16/8 and some great defense.

Playing with house money at Purdue, so don't rush him back

Had a compound dislocation playing pickup -
Ring finger went horizontal broke the skin - you could see bone.

Had same thing happen but didn't break. Was pointing back at me. I freaked and pushed on it and the thing just popped back in. Said extra prayers that night.

Well they showed him with his hand in a towel while slapping hands wth the crowd. (Right) and he sure didn't look in pain.
Best wishes. I bet he'll be ok.

When Harper came out of locker room for alma mater - he had an ice pack on either his hand or wrist. I saw Van Dyke talk to him and Van Dyke. did make a face of disgust after Harp spoke to him. Hopefully I misinterpreted since Coach knight said he ll be ok.

They def said at halftime of NW Purdue that Pike said it was bad... maybe he just said it looked bad or was going off Harper saying it was bad

These later comments make it sounds not as bad and coach knight apparently saying he will be fine.

Maybe just a really bad painful jam in the end?

Don't know about anyone else I just heard them say in the BTN studio that Pike said it looks bad. Then again Pike is probably speculating too at least until they can diagnose it properly.
Yeah. He said same about Miller iirc.
