I don't want to either argue with you or insult you. I am simply trying to understand you. Mitch McConnell was, indeed, still functioning (albeit with dubious cognitive skills) on June 11, which is the date that he cast what appears to be his final vote on the floor of the U.S. Senate. He appears to have suffered cardiac arrest at his home on June 14, underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation at his home (according to medical dispatch records), and was hospitalized that same day (June 14). He has made no public statements, has not appeared on TV, nor has he otherwise provided proof that he is actually recovering from cardiac arrest and CPR, and his staff is eerily silent, while his wife split for China.
I don't see how that can be regarded as anything but bizarre. At least not by any reasonable person. Would you not agree? It has even induced the Governor of Kentucky to send McConnell a letter asking for an explanation of his current condition. How many more days do you believe need to elapse before this situation should be regarded as bizarre, or perhaps even sinister?
