Is Mitch a vegetable?

Even if you had tickets to the 2022 Final Four? ;)

Not all marriages are created equal. My best guess is Chao’s trip was planned before Mitch’s medical emergency. If he is in fact brain dead then she probably decided there’s nothing she can do anyway. So she decided to go ahead with her trip knowing that he’s laying in a vegetative state with little or no hope of recovery and will still be laying in a vegetative state with little or no hope of recovery when she returns.
I would pass on the FF knowing the Heels were guaranteed a win if my wife was lying in a hospital bed at the end of her life. It wouldn’t be a close call. Anyone who says otherwise might as well not bother being married.

His career should have ended a few days after he had his little freeze up during that press conference. There's been multiple situations over the last year or two that were very clear indicators he was not well. This all could have been avoided.

Age limits need to happen.

Not according to Scott Jennings:

here's me, talking to my old friend Mitch, who's just out of frame, ltalking about IRAN, UKRAINE, the unfolding situation in MAINE, my visit to the TR Presidential Library, and even a little bit of Senate history

Good point. We should definitely have Kentucky spend millions of dollars and countless hours of volunteers’ time holding a special election so the Democrats can spend the last 7 legislative weeks of 2026 losing every vote by 51-49 instead of 51-48.

I'm sure you care about that.

(Sigh)

Did you even read the words that I wrote? Where did I say that her actions seem ‘normal’ or that I agree with her decision? I simply said that if her intention was to keep Mitch on life support then she didn’t need to fly to the other side of the world to make it happen.
Yeah, we read your words as you churn the sand around.
It's simple, if Mrs. TJ were in the hospital would you be at her side, or jetting of to China? Everything else beyond that is just TJ being TJ.

Oh, good. Luke chimed into remind us all that he can’t ******* read, either.

I’ve made it abundantly clear multiple times that my point has nothing to do with whether it was appropriate for her to go to China. My point has everything to do whether she did it for the purpose of keeping Mitch on life support. Because frankly anyone who thinks she had to flee to Asia in order to avoid pulling the plug is a ******* idiot.

So at best she is a dirtbag of a wife? It was Mitch a dirtbag of a husband? Or are they both dirtbags?

That wasn’t what our discussion was about. It was about whether she’s a pos for running out on a spouse on life support. That was it.

Your “best guess is Chao’s trip was planned before Mitch’s medical emergency. If he is in fact brain dead then she probably decided there’s nothing she can do anyway. So she decided to go ahead with her trip knowing that he’s laying in a vegetative state with little or no hope of recovery and will still be laying in a vegetative state with little or no hope of recovery when she returns.”

You then asked - oddly - whether I would or would not pass on tix to a FF with UNC involved to be with my dying wife. This would seem to indicate that you're defending Chao's choice to abandon her dying husband. Whether or not that was your intent, you have a history of staking out an untenable position and then defending it to the death.

As a result, you die a lot.

Sooo... would you, under any normal circumstance, leave your dying wife's side? Would you leave her for a pre-planned trip since there's nothing you can do? For a sporting event since there's little or no hope of recovery? For anything other than an overwhelming emergency that would supersede your responsibility to your wife?

Thread topic: Senator who should have stepped down years ago laying in the hospital for 3 weeks. Might be dying. Wife jets off to China.
Well, that is unpleasant for a name brand Republican, so, TJ grabs his hammer and tongs and goes to work on the thread.

It's not like they would be removed if they didn't vote for the BBB.

I am just not seeing man.
There is a rino contingent in the Senate blocking Trump without a doubt.

Murkowski
Collins
Tillis
Cassidy
McConnell

These are the main culprits. Thune has been McConnell apprentice. Its real.

It’s like you’re trying to look like an idiot. You’re constantly so eager to take a run at me that you don’t care or even stop to consider how stupid you sound. It’s actually kind of sad to watch you work. You’re perfectly capable of having a rational discussion, but you constantly choose instead to be a dick.

If you think it’s out of line to comment on whether or not Chao intentionally left the country to make sure Mitch couldn’t be taken off life support then register your complaint with TC Nole, not me. He’s the one who speculated in post #19 that she did.

But then why not block the BBB and why not block some of his appointments?
