Haven't heard about him with regard to tryouts at any camps.

Unfortunately he has been done. He is too small for d-line, too big for linebacker, and that's before you add in the injury history. By all observations a great kid, but not an NFL prospect, don't think he ever was. Wish him the best.

Oh, I don’t know. Eric Foster put on about 30lbs in 3mos after he graduated. Ray Rice’s body was unrecognizable after a few months too. Pro athletes have ways of making gains quickly.

His knees might not be up to handling the weight it takes to play DT in the pros.
Don't think he has the speed to play DE and he isn't a NFL LB type.
But maybe he'll be able to prove people that doubt him wrong, but think he'll have to prove himself in the CFL to get a NFL team interested

Hamilton had good size for HS and a father who knew all the pro techniques. In college those couldn't make up for really skinny legs that just couldn't hold up. One Ray Rice calf was like two of Hamilton's

Saw Darius at the Rahway game at Somerville last year and he looked borderline slim for a guy looking to make it as a pro D-lineman. Solid dude though.

When he put on the extra weight he became a top heavy athlete, that imbalance will always leave you susceptible to injury.
IMO, he was quicker and better at 245 then he ever was after gaining pounds.
I’m amazed our trainers allowed him to create that imbalance given his knee problems

Just assumed he was done after Rutgers - great loyal son, but just limited by his body for his position and the pros.
