Completely agree.Unfortunately he has been done. He is too small for d-line, too big for linebacker, and that's before you add in the injury history. By all observations a great kid, but not an NFL prospect, don't think he ever was. Wish him the best.
Oh, I don’t know. Eric Foster put on about 30lbs in 3mos after he graduated. Ray Rice’s body was unrecognizable after a few months too. Pro athletes have ways of making gains quickly.

good for him and if Flood pulled some strings, kudos to him.Darius is leaving Thursday for minicamp with the Atlanta Falcons!

Not to splash cold water on this great news but I think you hit the nail on the head. Maybe Flood is going to see if there is a way to get him on the practice squad.good for him and if Flood pulled some strings, kudos to him.
If that's true, and while he is persona non grata here, Flood deserves some props for doing this. Not to splash cold water on this great news but I think you hit the nail on the head. Maybe Flood is going to see if there is a way to get him on the practice squad.
Wasn't he traded to the Reds for a catcher? Is he Matt Harvey done or no one wants to sign him??
Who cares right? He’s getting an opportunity to show what he can do and that’s what matters. Not to splash cold water on this great news but I think you hit the nail on the head. Maybe Flood is going to see if there is a way to get him on the practice squad.
