guess what your not playing against a mike Riley team. Btw Kirk always plays not to lose when he has a leadSorry, but KF had a chance to blow that one out of the water. 35-13 or 35-10 there's no 4th quarter.

I agree. Question for you why can't Iowa sell out a game? That was embarrassing just pitiful!!!!I don’t think Kirk was thinking OT. If we don’t get that, you guys get your own FG in my opinion.
No it wasn't, look at the game man. They don't covert on 4th and 8, we have about 35 seconds left and not only did we have the momentum but we were moving the ball at will on that D in the 4th and they couldn't have stopped us from getting the ball into Pickering's range and if he misses it, Ferentz knew that there was a better than an 80% chance they lose in OT and that is why he chose to gamble. They couldn't move the ball on our D in the 4th as the only managed up until that 4th and 8 conversion 46 Total Yards . If Kirk was confident about OT, he would've punted and took it into OT. Wow!I think that was a lack of respect for our defense, and I don’t blame him, although I would punt.
You don’t try that against a decent defense. That simple. No it wasn't, look at the game man. Sorry dude, not buyin what you're putting down as you are way off of the mark on this one. You also don't try it on one that just held your O to 46 total yards in the last 15 minutes of play either. He wanted at all cost to keep the ball out of our hands and took that gamble, which he won as we were closer to kicking a winning FG than OT.You don’t try that against a decent defense. That simple.
Huge gamble that paid offPost game Ferentz said the last Stanley pass on 4th down was Stanley’s call at the line. He had the green light from the coaches to punt it or audible to pass if he saw a matchup he liked.
Because our defense is Charmin soft. He would punt against competent defenses.Sorry dude, not buyin what you're putting down as you are way off of the mark on this one. Only Nebraska fans will take back to back 4-8 teams and state emphatically they will win at least 10 games the next season.Only Iowa will take a last second moral victory over 4-8 as smack talk material. Huskers will be 10-2 or 11-1 next year, Hawks will be 8-4 or 7-5.. rinse and repeat!
Shall we bring the Defroster again?Congrats Iowa. See you in Lincoln next year.
It’s not the greatest of trophies. No history like Floyd. What trophies did NU have in the Big 8/12 against other teams?I just hope Frost leaves the trophy on the field when we do win it.
Except for the game winning drive, going right at 25 who spent more time flapping his gums than playing football on the game’s decisive play. Just stop. As Frost says, we need to get bigger and strongerWe were the better team at the end of the game. And all their talk about being the best defense in the B1G is BS. They are slow
Just the Missouri Nebraska Bell. It’s not the greatest of trophies. No history like Floyd. What trophies did NU have in the Big 8/12 against other teams?
Rinse and repeat is this post. Been seeing it every year for what... the last 4 years?Only Iowa will take a last second moral victory over 4-8 as smack talk material. Huskers will be 10-2 or 11-1 next year, Hawks will be 8-4 or 7-5.. rinse and repeat!
I was impressed by your coaches and your team. They fought back when they were down.
Not much to say. The “moment” has been going on for 6 years against Iowa.props where they are due. But they also know we’re coming for them. Don’t dwell in the moment. The Future is bright.

Kind of sick of losing to those guys all the time.

Thanks for the post but have you seen us play Iowa in Lincoln?? The outcome’s usually not pretty.HI guys,
Count me as impressed with the Huskers today.....just a few thoughts.
- Very upset that we did not have a sellout. I now the fan base was upset by the last month...but really? ARGH!!!
- If this game had been in Lincoln...you guys win....and I am not looking forward to the game next year in Lincoln.
- Martinez should win Freshman of the year in the BIG and will be player of the year at some point before he leaves....Sucks for the rest of us in the west!!!!
Have a GREAT Holiday season!!!
- Can I ask how many Senior starters you guys lose?
Wow, you are too stupid to argue with. It was a 3 point game that can down to a last second FG. The yards were virtually even, Iowa was +1 in TO margin. Get a clue.
Lol celebrate the win over a 4-8 team at home. Don’t waste your time here.
The person saying it?Just the other day the touting line was this team should have 8-9 wins. What changed?
