LMAO!!!! Well played sir!Oh no our yearning to fire people is spreading to other teams.

He was very good today. I thought the offense in general looked good today. What a transfer portal pickup. Gronowski was so good today.
It has to be a NCAA record, correct?crazy how many times they have been called for it
9-4.Best season in school history ends with a loss to 8-4 Iowa team.
Best game he's ever had as a hawk.
If only he was able to do spring ball and not have been injured. What could have been!He was very good today. I thought the offense in general looked good today.
No disrespect in that. It was a strategy.Game ball to the entire offense today.
Also, loved that they got to close it out after Vandy chose absolute disrespect by kicking that FG as early as they did.
The next step for Iowa is getting a good QB for more than one season.THAT version of Gronk for the whole season would have had us in the playoffs making noise.
Great season tho
His QB IQ is off the charts…I think Grono is throwing the ball better, more zip, he could make an NFL practice squad at least and get better and better
He is the perfect NFL backupHis QB IQ is off the charts…
Weird game with many unusual plays. Never saw a punt beyond the line before (which was basically a turnover), and I don't recall seeing a FG on 2nd and 10 when you're down two scores with some time on the clock.Game ball to the entire offense today.
Also, loved that they got to close it out after Vandy chose absolute disrespect by kicking that FG as early as they did.
I thought that call was great for us.Interesting for sure..
I think he probably came…![]()
Yup, checked all the boxes today…kind of wanted KW to return one though…We beat a ranked team. Douche Pavia goes down. SEC in shambles. BIG10 domination
This is honestly one of the best jobs by the coaching staff as a whole in many years.Great job this year by the Hawks’ players and coaches. One of the better seasons in the last decade.
No top was OFF for that live view…is that a live view as she watches victory formation?
Sadly….yesCheering for Nebby to keep the Big10 streak going or not???
I hope so, if not then MG.Von no name player of game???
His experience, reading defenses, getting us into the right play was huge for us this year. His QB IQ is off the charts…
There was plenty of time to take another shot or two and not lose much time off the clock (over 3 minutes remaining when they kicked the FG)...........No disrespect in that. It was a strategy.
Can you post the Cliff’s Notes version please? This is honestly one of the best jobs by the coaching staff as a whole in many years.
I'd argue it's even better than 2015 simply because of the expectations with our talent going into the season, and our known struggles against ranked opponents, given the schedule we had to navigate.
Phil maximized the talent on defense, even though we saw their warts today. The OL finally broke through after being hot trash for the better part of 4 seasons prior. We got the most out of our RBs, who are good, not great. We saw small, but incremental progress in the passing game, which was one of the worst in P5 football over the past 4 years. And we saw the development of Mark Gronowski throughout the season as he led us to some amazing and record-setting performances, and some entertaining games despite coming up short in 4 of them.
Where we were as an offense in the Iowa State game in Week 2, is a totally different team from what we showed today.
And then to cap it off against a fiesty, Boise State-esque Vanderbilt team who had something to prove themselves, with the Heisman runner-up, and win having to ultimately play THEIR game...........is why I think this is KF and staff's best coaching job since probably 2004.
I hope this guy bet the house on Vandy....Don’t forget to drop this guy a message
This is scum bag material.I didn't read the whole thread. Did anyone see Gronowskis brother masturbating with his mom?![]()
Would be nice, but another way of looking at it is KF's first great stretch saw a different QB each year. The next step for Iowa is getting a good QB for more than one season.
USC lost.Sadly….yes
Agree. He is sooooo much better than he was the first half of the season and this was easily his best game of the year.THAT version of Gronk for the whole season would have had us in the playoffs making noise.
Great season tho
Someone print the F-Pavia t-shirts. His quote "If you want to play with the best, you don't want to play with the Big10. The Big 10 you have Ohio State and Oregon. The SEC you're going to get beat on week after week. He went on to say " Do you know the 3 conferences of the NFL? AFC, NFC and the SEC."This is honestly one of the best jobs by the coaching staff as a whole in many years.

If Brosmer can play meaningful snaps in the NFL, then I guess Gronowski could at least be a practice team player. He is the perfect NFL backup
Iowa staff best coaching job since 2004Can you post the Cliff’s Notes version please?tia
This defense, by Iowa standards, was dogcrap most of the season.I know how this is going to sound, but a lot of white guys on defense who apparently can’t handle 55 degree weather in December.
![]()
Iowa’s defense played poorly in the second half. Thankfully the offense had probably their best game of the season.Vanderbilt Points scored vs last 5 opponents:
At Texas 31
vs Auburn 45
vs Kentucky 45
At Tennessee 45
vs Iowa 27
For all of you know nothings complaining about the Iowa defense. Again.
I don’t believe that’s allowed. We’re supposed to be saying Lester sucks, right? He was very good today. I thought the offense in general looked good today.
He had a couple of decent returns. Lackluster by his standards, but a solid day for anyone else.Yup, checked all the boxes today…kind of wanted KW to return one though…![]()
nailed everything. the Daily Iowan writer should just copy thisThis is honestly one of the best jobs by the coaching staff as a whole in many years.
