Hannah gets invites to be on the USA team but ya, prob won't even make it in Europe.
At this rate she's going to be kicked off the team and have to start flipping tricks at the old fieldhouse to make her rent.I think Turkey is probably her ceiling. Maybe she gets an invite to one of the Slavic teams.
Are you watching the games?Hannah gets invites to be on the USA team but ya, prob won't even make it in Europe.![]()
She can sit beside Jada on the bench and cheer loudly. At this rate she's going to be kicked off the team and have to start flipping tricks at the old fieldhouse to make her rent.
Did not get to see the game. Was Iowa's defense that good tonight or is Rutgers really bad on offense?
Nope. He was 62%. Hays is currently at 44%.That title belongs to Hawkeye legend Reggie Evans.
If we left our starters they wouldn't have broken 30.Did not get to see the game. Was Iowa's defense that good tonight or is Rutgers really bad on offense?

Can’t do it - Women are not good at basketball. You've got to slow down your watching tempo. Once you master that, it is quite enjoyable to watch.
Hard to describe, but you have to pretend you are in slow motion. Gear down and enjoy.
She definitely has her moments, but also some pretty severe limitations. I think everybody was hoping for more improvement, but her game is what it is and that’s alrightGotta bookmark all these anti- Hannah posts for later in the season.
Her and Ava Heiden will be a great one two punch.

Your life must be pretty dull if you're wasting you time posting on a slop board. Can’t do it - Women are not good at basketball.
It’s slop followed by more slop.
So you are watching the games and posting here, what does it say about you. Troll? In a lot of aspects the girls game has better fundamental play than the men’s game. Can’t do it - Women are not good at basketball.

8 points from Heiden, 1 point from the other 4 starters. 13 points from the bench.
Bench. Yep.....8 points from Heiden, 1 point from the other 4 starters. 13 points from the bench.
Regardless if the seniors start the talent is in the last two classes. And for goodness sake, whats up with Hannah?Deal/Stremlow/Wright/Houston/Heiden. Impressive young lineup.
Well... I think the Stuelke freshman year may be worse?Layla Hays is the worst freethrow shooter in the history of free throw shooters. Prove me wrong.
Fouls?
Not. Can't hit the side of a barn again tonight. Missing layups, no confidence to shoot more then 5ft from the basket, Hell she shot one free throw that went sideways and went left of the rim. Don't think I've seen that one before.Fouls?
Levin is a very good player on a deep team.
I've said for awhile that I think she could play a few minutes for us.Levin is a very good player on a deep team.
She took a shot to the face in the first half. Keeping fingers crossed its just being cautious, but if she really didn't come out of the locker room, thats a bit scaryThey said she's in concussion protocol and is being held out for precautionary reasons. I hope they're referring to her previous injury instead of anything that happened today.![]()
Great minutes for the future starters though...If we left our starters they wouldn't have broken 30.
Close but no. Stuelke was 46% vs 44% for Hays so far.Well... I think the Stuelke freshman year may be worse?

I hate bagging on either Hannah or Kylie, but tell me how either of them have progressed the last two years? That has to be one of the worst games Hannah has had at Iowa. This stuff about her working on her skills to be a 4 in the league? What was she supposedly working on?Gotta bookmark all these anti- Hannah posts for later in the season.

Not so far. Layla shot 46% in high school supposedly. Keep drawing those fouls though. That helps as well....He got worse at them in the NBA but he was a rebounding monster.
44% damn near nowhere to go but up. Hopefully.
Hannah's dribble drive has improved materially over the last two years as well as her mid range 8 to 10 ft turnaround jumper. Free throw percentage up significantly from freshman season.I hate bagging on either Hannah or Kylie, but tell me how either of them have progressed the last two years? Interesting. I guess we're watching different players. She drives a bit better but still often misses the shot at the rim. As for the 8-10 ft jumper, really? I'd love someone to count the number of those she's made in this season and last. I doubt you'd run out of fingers on one hand. Heck, Ava just dropped three of those in this game alone, one from the free throw line extended. The issue is (and always has been ) a decent low post player in a forwards body. Unfortunately she doesn't have the skill set to play more then 5 or 6 feet from the basket, and she's in trouble in the post against true centers and most of the good teams have them. All of this even though this is supposedly her focus the last off season, again. As for free throws, last season was a good step up from the first two, but she seems to be regressing.....Hannah's dribble drive has improved materially over the last two years as well as her mid range 8 to 10 ft turnaround jumper. Has always had real problems with bunnies, but I think Iowa fans got too used to Monica and Megan Gustafson's off the chart shooting in those situations to compare to.
She's always been a solid rebounder and defender.
Hannah is a good athlete and solid contributor for sure. She's not gonna be the star everyone had hoped for these last couple of years, she's just not a good shooter, lacks some touch, etc. But she'll stick her nose in there and be physical, rebound, etc.Hannah's dribble drive has improved materially over the last two years as well as her mid range 8 to 10 ft turnaround jumper. It was a poor game for her, and we know she had free throw issues coming in. But she's been solid overall, not worried about her, she's gonna be a valuable Hawkeye for years to come.Hayes has shown brilliance at times but needs to get stronger. She's missing some bunnies today.
Callie Levin may be the next Syd Affolter by the time all is said and done. Exact same contribution skills.Hannah is a good athlete and solid contributor for sure. Sure wish Journey Houston had Hannah's frame, she'd be a monster out there. Was impressed with Callie Levin as well, didn't realize she was so fast, looked to be a solid defender and hit a couple of nice three's. She really looked the part in this game. Good for her.
We'll just have to wait and see. Hannah's highlights from her Junior Olympic experience were very impressive and remember she was injured for most of last season.Interesting. Rutgers didn't have an Athletic Director at the end of last season. Also their athletic department is running at a huge deficit. So it was said that there was no way that a temp AD was going to fire her and buy out her $770,000 salary with money they don't have. She signed a 6 year contract in 2022.How does cocheese keep her job. : )
