Hannah gets invites to be on the USA team but ya, prob won't even make it in Europe.
Are you watching the games?

Can't create her own offense and isn't effective from +6 feet from the hoop.
3-6 on FTs kinda shows her range.

Likely a great kid and teammate, tho.

At this rate she's going to be kicked off the team and have to start flipping tricks at the old fieldhouse to make her rent.
She can sit beside Jada on the bench and cheer loudly.

BTW: She's got a NIL from Riverside Casino, so she's doing ok.

You've got to slow down your watching tempo. Once you master that, it is quite enjoyable to watch.

Hard to describe, but you have to pretend you are in slow motion. Gear down and enjoy.
Can’t do it - Women are not good at basketball.

It’s slop followed by more slop.

Gotta bookmark all these anti- Hannah posts for later in the season.

Her and Ava Heiden will be a great one two punch.
She definitely has her moments, but also some pretty severe limitations. I think everybody was hoping for more improvement, but her game is what it is and that’s alright

They said she's in concussion protocol and is being held out for precautionary reasons. I hope they're referring to her previous injury instead of anything that happened today. 🙏
She took a shot to the face in the first half. Keeping fingers crossed its just being cautious, but if she really didn't come out of the locker room, thats a bit scary

I hate bagging on either Hannah or Kylie, but tell me how either of them have progressed the last two years? That has to be one of the worst games Hannah has had at Iowa. This stuff about her working on her skills to be a 4 in the league? What was she supposedly working on?

He got worse at them in the NBA but he was a rebounding monster.

44% damn near nowhere to go but up. Hopefully.
Not so far. Layla shot 46% in high school supposedly. Keep drawing those fouls though. That helps as well....

Hannah's dribble drive has improved materially over the last two years as well as her mid range 8 to 10 ft turnaround jumper. Free throw percentage up significantly from freshman season.

Has always had real problems with bunnies, but I think Iowa fans got too used to Monica and Megan Gustafson's off the chart shooting in those situations to compare to.

She's always been a solid rebounder and defender.

Interesting. I guess we're watching different players. She drives a bit better but still often misses the shot at the rim. As for the 8-10 ft jumper, really? I'd love someone to count the number of those she's made in this season and last. I doubt you'd run out of fingers on one hand. Heck, Ava just dropped three of those in this game alone, one from the free throw line extended. The issue is (and always has been ) a decent low post player in a forwards body. Unfortunately she doesn't have the skill set to play more then 5 or 6 feet from the basket, and she's in trouble in the post against true centers and most of the good teams have them. All of this even though this is supposedly her focus the last off season, again. As for free throws, last season was a good step up from the first two, but she seems to be regressing.....

Hannah is a good athlete and solid contributor for sure. She's not gonna be the star everyone had hoped for these last couple of years, she's just not a good shooter, lacks some touch, etc. But she'll stick her nose in there and be physical, rebound, etc.

Sure wish Journey Houston had Hannah's frame, she'd be a monster out there. Was impressed with Callie Levin as well, didn't realize she was so fast, looked to be a solid defender and hit a couple of nice three's. She really looked the part in this game. Good for her.

Hayes has shown brilliance at times but needs to get stronger. She's missing some bunnies today.
It was a poor game for her, and we know she had free throw issues coming in. But she's been solid overall, not worried about her, she's gonna be a valuable Hawkeye for years to come.

She's got plenty of time to work on her free throws, she appears to have some nice touch, so maybe more of a mental thing.

Callie Levin may be the next Syd Affolter by the time all is said and done. Exact same contribution skills.

We'll just have to wait and see. Hannah's highlights from her Junior Olympic experience were very impressive and remember she was injured for most of last season.

This year Ava is getting most of the touches down low so far and that may change when double teams come for her in the heart of the Big Ten season.

I don't think anybody is gonna outrebound Iowa with those two down low all season.

How does cocheese keep her job. : )
Rutgers didn't have an Athletic Director at the end of last season. Also their athletic department is running at a huge deficit. So it was said that there was no way that a temp AD was going to fire her and buy out her $770,000 salary with money they don't have. She signed a 6 year contract in 2022.😬

Iowa's own Shannon LeBeauf (Perry) is the new associate head coach for Rutgers. They pried her away from her hometown team UCLA. I think she will be the next Rutgers head coach. Besides, she was a C. Vivian Stringer recruit at Iowa.
