Our QBs. The pain of watching them play is an annual event.........
Iowa still 67 percent chance according to box in left hand of upper computer screen
Heck’s miss down the middle to Diaz was inexcusable. That woulda been a TD
He had the potential to hit 3 guys for TDs, but 0 for 3...
This. At this point, we clearly need to go with the "hot hand".
Neither QB has earned a long leash. So is you stink up the place, next QB in.
Hank doesn't look like he has a "hot hand" today, but better than the "sh*t hand" we were seeing with Heck.
So his 2 throws to wide open Diaz impressed you? How about his multiple passes into triple coverage? Don’t let the bias cloud how **** he has looked (FWIW I don’t like Hank either).
What’s everyone thinking about playoff odds? Lord the offense is hard to watch again. We can’t have nice things
I'm bowing out of the game thread. It always seems like a jinx when I participate. You can thank me later, I hope...
IF Minny pulls off the upset, that mean's Floyd will be sleeping in PJ's bedroom tonight.
Who on the OL hasn't been an uncharacteristic f*** up this year?
They all are committing dumb penalties and losing blocks.
Doesn't look like a playoff team to me. Not with this offense. What’s everyone thinking about playoff odds? Lord the offense is hard to watch again. We can’t have nice things
At the top of this page, it says Iowa sill has a 67% chance of winning this game.
I am not saying he is Drew Tate but give the guy a full game to figure it out. There just isn't enough of a sample size to know what he is yet. He has moxie and potential to be pretty good. Not saying he will be, but give him more of a chance.
Yeah, I am neither a Hank or Heck guy specifically. Complete passes, make the right calls and don't put the ball at risk in stupid situations. I'll take that guy....
too bad we missed open receivers but i suppose the good news compared to the past is that receivers were open and the qb actually seemed to be aware of that
I really don’t want these guys in the playoffs. It would be really embarrassing . BYU or Oregon or Georgia or somebody would light them up.What’s everyone thinking about playoff odds? Lord the offense is hard to watch again. We can’t have nice things
I'll say it...
It's a good thing we start this half on defense.
We have a chance to score right away.

Lolol.. Kind of looks different went you can't run the ball doesn't it.....
Good question. I've been all Heck, but now I see I may have been wrong. I'm willing to admit it. Maybe Iowa has two mediocre, inconsistent QBs after all. But then they're not alone. Look at the awful QB play we've been seeing from both Michigan and Indiana, to name only two. Where have all the QBs gone?
Second half likely we see Heck back after that awful interception. Moulton is done for the day, so it's the LJ Phillips show. Goofs attacking the box with reckless abandon. Need to make them pay for it with something, anything, on the outside. Desperately need to spread them out. Defense was our lifeline until special teams woke up and helped with field position. Must get a three and out to start the third and get the offense into decent field position.
I saw him riding around IC on a moped, he’ll be back by mid season
Just sad… happy feet and not much blocking upfront… sickens me how we can look dynamite then turn into a turd
the next game

About the same as before the game started. That it was comical we were even having that discussion 1 week after we were trying to find 6 wins on the schedule.
Iowa deserves all the criticism and jokes for our offense year in and year out
Screw it. Punt on 1st down and let the defense get the offense going.
Typically flat as f*** performance out of the bye week from Kirk and Co.Just sad… happy feet and not much blocking upfront… sickens me how we can look dynamite then turn into a turd
