That’s a horseshit call. Makes me sick. Gabe wrestled well and deserved to win.
Iowa @ OSU probables

JB seems to not agree with it. Saying it a little more eloquently than we are (JB also thought he had a takedown earlier).
This official should be doing JV matches.
Merrill coming out to kung fu fighting lol
That's rough...Hard to complain when he continually puts himself in that situation. I will continue to be confused as to why referees don't realize guys pushing guys out is also stalling, situationally at least.
The stall rule sets wrestling back. It's a joke of the rule.
I don’t think tom sends out a hwt. Something tells me he’s gonna FF and get tf out of there.
Refs had it out for the Brands the last 5ish years and it’s cost our wrestlers dozens of times
You get 2 seconds of “reaction time” when you’re taken down, but zero chance to get back to the mat after an escape. Worst part of it all…that was Ryder’s first shot the entire match.
Wake up, he hates iowaThats Iowa's next head coach
Get rid of the fing reaction time too. Just more subjective bs to review. It's stupid.
Gabe lives and dies on the edge in every match...this time it was literal.
gabe had 3 earlier anyways, fk this sport
What a joke. So the first duel Caliendo rolls through a takedown and they call a 3 and 2 with Lockett. And now Gabe does even more for his takedown and they take it away and somehow despite Ryder doing nothing to all match, give Gabe two stalllings. Embarassing for the sport.
I really don't know how that wasn't a takedown for Arnold. Having these refs review their own calls just doesn't work.
Gabe gets hosed twice what a crock of ****
Both wrestlers were obviously out of bounds when he shot. Should've been blown dead before the shot and restarted.
Psu fan here just saying Gabe just got the worst stall call I’ve ever seen ! Totally wrong
I'm sorry, I don't usually ***** about refs, even Angel, but that was ******** reffing in Gabe's match.
Yep.
Reaction time makes so much sense on paper but way too much subjectiveness to it.
bring back no reaction.
The sad reality here is that Iowa should probably still have 2 or 3 more stalls against us compared to what the ref has called overall
I'm an Iowa hater and I believe Arnold got hosed.
Edit. "Unpaid" Iowa hater.

We had a national championship at this weight last year lol
If it goes against Iowa, that's the official call. Whichever way benefits the opponent. If Gabe rolls through and takes down the tOSU guy, no reaction time and Gabe loses. When the opposite happens against Okie State, Gabe doesn't get the call and Gabe loses. Seems simple enough.
It didn't matter after 3 weights. Dual was over. Brands are over. We need to start fixing the program the day after nationals, if not sooner
JB just shared his thoughts on the coaches. I am ready for him to come to Iowa City. This hurts to watch.
For the number 7 team in the country, we are wrestling a blue blood pretty well.
