Stupid comments by @Loyal Muke Muke. Frost has coached in a conference title game and also a major bowl game to end a season in perfection. Those were bigger games. This Iowa game is just an attempt to try and get a bowl game.
Pretty much when you are at home, senior day, and your first chance to finish .500 and possibly get a bowl invite.
The stars are aligned only a choke job of epic proportions could derail this.
If you want to say Nebraska choked against Colorado or even Indiana I could get on board with that.
But, I’m not sure how losing to Iowa would be a choke job when Nebraska is the underdog.

Not even close to the biggest. Important in the fact we need it to get a bowl game, thats about it.
Martinez is going to be a huge factor. He needs to play better, stop turning it over in the RZ. Way to many mental errors for year 2, game 11. He plays mistake free football and I really think we win.
The 1985 team was truly “ELITE” for Iowa. They were ranked #1 for a few weeks. For a team that never finished a season # 1, that is pretty exciting. Unfortunately, they ended the season with 2 losses, including a bowl game egg on the face, but not everyone can go through a season and beat everyone. I’m sure those few weeks at #1 were pretty memorable.
Outside the blue bloods on the conference, you have to scratch for above average seasons to not hurt the feelings of the lesser teams. BTN also highlights an “ELITE” Northwestern team for 1995. This is age of participation throphies.
It's kinda like when Iowa rushed the field after beating Minnesota at home, in a game they were FAVORED in!

Iowa has won 3 games at Kinnick and 3 games at Memorial Stadium in my life time.

I highly doubt you believe that, this is for a bowl game. All the chips will have been pushed into the pot, Scooter is going all in.
It a bowl game, only Iowa treats those as NC games. It is very important to win,to show growth and direction as a program, but other than that, meh. Would have much rather won those games I mentioned above.
Iowa should win the game. They have a much better record, have had coaching stability, etc.. So why at the end of the day isn't this vaunted Iowa team predicted to win by more. This terrible coached team that can do nothing right, has injuires all over the board and will never amount to anything is only a 5 point dog to this vaunted Iowa team? Tell me why that is.. Senior day doesn't mean ****, and all of your fans are claiming a Hawkeye take over of the stadium so homefield advantage should be out... If Nebraska is so bad, why aren't you favored by more?
