I think you’re wrong but we know they didn’t win with Hank.Nope.
Stand by what I said in my original reply to your original reply.
People are deluded to think that Iowa automatically wins if MG doesn't come out due to injury.

Feels more like 2011, lately.2021 over PSU. Last win over any ranked team.
After that play:I don't mind the all out blitz, but I f***ing hate when you take away a middle safety because you have to expect the ball coming out quick, especially over the middle.
Yeah you can leave your receivers on an island and you'll take that if the QB wants to throw that way.
But when you expose the middle of the field on an all out blitz, there's much more to lose than gain.
I blame the scheme on that all out blitz, unless somebody was out of alignment, which is always hard to tell when you don't get a full picture of the field.
But it was pretty apparent there was nobody in the middle of the field on that play.
This is the most iowa fan post ever.Hawks deserved that win, but too many mistakes is what buried us. Injuries don't help either. A lot to think about over the bye week. But the guys should be proud on how they played.
They would have played for a FG on the last possession regardless who the QB because KFBoys, I think we win that game if Gronowski doesn’t get hurt.
Expensive game on the injury front, that sucks.
Easily.I think 99% of fans are ready for that gamble....
Hard for me to lay all the blame at the feet of a guy who previous got a few mop-up game minutes to just hand the ball off in 90% of his previous snaps before getting the call in a tight game vs a good ranked team in crunch time.I think you’re wrong but we know they didn’t win with Hank.
yes I have disliked him since 2007 and really did not like when he was hired. He is gutless on game day and always has been.Hawks lose QB1 and QB2 can't get it done and you dislike KF.
Didn't you dislike him before the game, so what's the deal?
Unless you expect jazz hands X to be that safety valve. I've previously said if he needs to be on the field you may as well blitz him but now I don't even know what he should be doing out there. Helping everyone up after the play and adjusting their pads under their jerseys?I don't mind the all out blitz, but I f***ing hate when you take away a middle safety because you have to expect the ball coming out quick, especially over the middle.

No, he definitely has some head scratchers. I’ll agree with that. But on that drive where they settled for the field goal I really believe they get at least one first down on the ground with him as a running option.Hard for me to lay all the blame at the feet of a guy who previous got a few mop-up game minutes to just hand the ball off in 90% of his previous snaps before getting the call in a tight game vs a good ranked team in crunch time.
Did he throw a couple bad passes? Yeah, can't refute that.
But does MG throw great catchable passes every time?? No he does not, and I know you can't refute that either.
With Gronowski in, we would have had a much better chance of getting the needed 1st down before Stevens missed FG.Hawks deserved that win, but too many mistakes is what buried us. Injuries don't help either. A lot to think about over the bye week. But the guys should be proud on how they played.
This is why you let your backup qb run your actual offense and make pass attempts in garbage time vs handing the ball off ten times- because all live game reps matter!Hard for me to lay all the blame at the feet of a guy who previous got a few mop-up game minutes to just hand the ball off in 90% of his previous snaps before getting the call in a tight game vs a good ranked team in crunch time.

Anybody blaming Phil Parker for losses isn’t very smart. With Gronowski in, we would have had a much better chance of getting the needed 1st down before Stevens missed FG.
Worst case then if Stevens misses we’re going to OT.
Really hope MG will be able to play again soon.
The Defense played great minus some poor tackling at times. Anyone overly criticizing the Defense is an idiot.
We threw the ball on 3rd and 5. So why the complaints about being too conservative? If we had ran the ball and got stuffed, that would have been too conservative also I bet.
Would have been nice for Brown to give the RB a chance on a simple screen pass though.
I can agree with this. MG is a dual threat and that keeps the D more honest. No, he definitely has some head scratchers. I’ll agree with that. But on that drive where they settled for the field goal I really believe they get at least one first down on the ground with him as a running option.
I thought the swing pass to Milton was a great call. Just awful execution. Should’ve been a very easy pass to complete that even if you don’t get the first down, the clock keeps running. With Gronowski in, we would have had a much better chance of getting the needed 1st down before Stevens missed FG.

A winner? No ******* way. Cignetti is the Bobby Knight of football.
Refs did great several calls went iowas way. Both Olines were holding.Iowa could have played better but it did look to me like Indiana was playing Texas Holdem on offense.
I blame him for # 1s ****** tackling attempts.Anybody blaming Phil Parker for losses isn’t very smart.

UH? After the turnover and score we held them until the field goal. That was obviously my point. We held their offense in total check the first half AFTER the initial TO and short field score. I guess I could have made it more obvious but I'd think you'd know exactly what I meant. But hey, pick away anyway.....I don't what game you're watching but they did score after the turnover.
I thought he could have blasted the Indy QB from behind and caused a fumble. Why did he hold up?I’d bench X. He is a ****** tackler.
Um,.Merrieweather was in on the end of the first half series and got the crucial 15 yd penalty. Merrieweather and Allen play quite a bitWe rotate on DL at all? Looked like Hurkett and Max L were in every play. Had to be gassed.

MG isn't perfect, BUT he's a winner. His whole career, and you can see it coming at Iowa as well. I would have liked our chances with him in there in the 4thHard for me to lay all the blame at the feet of a guy who previous got a few mop-up game minutes to just hand the ball off in 90% of his previous snaps before getting the call in a tight game vs a good ranked team in crunch time.

Yeah, but he's so good in coverageI’d bench X. He is a ****** tackler.
Well he's thrown 8 passes before today in limited snaps so I'm not sure what your point is.This is why you let your backup qb run your actual offense and make pass attempts in garbage time vs handing the ball off ten times- because all live game reps matter!
That was a BS callUm,.Merrieweather was in on the end of the first half series and got the crucial 15 yd penalty. Merrieweather and Allen play quite a bit
I could always go the Nebraska transitive victory route. In other news, cincy is a good team. Bbbwwwaaaa @Blackleaf40
Surprised you’re able to post…….bbbbbbwwwwwaaaaaaasI could always go the Nebraska transitive victory route.
"Nebraska woulda lost by 4 touchdowns to Indiana".
Is Cincinnati rated?
A Nebraska post would be identical but the added bonus is regaling everyone about a "refspiracy".This is the most iowa fan post ever.
