That's why as a Met fan I felt it was important to take my boys there along with their Grandfather (my late Dad) before they tore it down.

The new/old Yankee stadium was cool.
The bowels of it, like the runway from clubhouse to dugout Ruth, Gehrig and Joe D walked remained the same

That's why we went.

My Dad told us all about the games he went to (Giants and Yankees), where he sat, what happened, etc.

They did change seats behind the team benches from bleacher to seat back.

And a new scoreboard, lighting, HVAC along with several different floors too.
