I'm grasping at straws here but is the JMI agreement the main concern for these recruits and their posse?
I've not heard any feedback about why players are not interested in UK from the Players.
Shouldn't we find out?

It cant just be JMI anymore. Maybe they arent helping.. but Kentucky, a top5 landing spot (allegedly), is handing out top NIL dollar, and players are walking away from their visit luke warm. That has to be on the coach and his staff.

A 20 year old from BYU or NCstate should be itching to come play at UK for millions of dollars, regardless of some contractual language in the JMI deal. Guys arent turning us away in droves because of JMI. Were only getting the lesser recruits who literally can not turn down such money, which is basically 90% of the recruits we've gotten under Pope: guys that would be getting 1/3rd that money at a no name program.

I'm not sure what the future holds for MP, and jury is still out for me. But IMO, he would be a better coach with the support of the fan base, minus the constant negativity. Not talking about no accountability, mind you, maybe don't be quick to bring out the pitchforks. Yes, I think this board have a negative impact on recruiting.
