Rick liked Kentucky girls more than Cal. I will give him that.I liked Pitino until he went to Boston, he may have lied while he was here but so has Cal, also Rick liked Kentucky boys more than Cal, I will give him that.
I guess you think your buddy Bobby Hurley at Arizona State is better. My friend ... if you think for a moment that John Calipari will ever again be the head coach of a team that wins an NCAA Title - anywhere - then I have a piece of ocean-front property down the street from my house here in Scottsdale, AZ that I'd like to sell to you, really cheap !
We know already.I don’t care where he goes as long as he goes somewhere.
He was not making 10 million a year at UMass and Ma. Is bad but it is no California.Cal coached at UMass. Wanna talk taxes?
Also IMOIMO losing so early with that Zion team shows that the OAD model does not work.
When the train gets rolling again I can’t wait to watch you chicken neck drama queens sneaking in The back and sitting down like your post history doesn’t exist.
California ain't what it used to be. LA is a dumpster fire.Could easily see it happening. If Cal can get the best players in the country to spend a year in Lexington, then convincing them to spend a year in Los Angeles would be child’s play. Not to mention he would blow open the only region he hasn’t recruited effectively at Kentucky. It was smart of UCLA to offer him when they did, but dumb of us to counter with a “lifetime contract.”
Nah, I’ll eat my crow.
there will be no train rolling again tho
Why, other coaches have won titles at UCLA just like other coaches have won titles at UK. But unless Cal changes his game plan he is not going to win another title, with the G league etc he will not get enough high level talent in that freshmen class to pull off a title run.If Cal left for UCLA and won a title, would that be worse than Pitino going to the Celtics first and then UofL?
And when Cal limps off into the sunset, after not getting the train rolling, are you going to sneak back and sit down on your post history? I mean getting the train rolling, like multiple Final Fours and maybe a title or two. Not a 20-10 season and you proclaim that Cal is back. I'll be more than happy to say I was wrong. Will you? When the train gets rolling again I can’t wait to watch you chicken neck drama queens sneaking in The back and sitting down like your post history doesn’t exist.
Lol. Sell yourself while manure is still high. You hold your breath till Cal rights the ship. When the train gets rolling again I can’t wait to watch you chicken neck drama queens sneaking in The back and sitting down like your post history doesn’t exist.
This is the truth. Calipari won early at UK because of bringing in the best of the best. Those days are gone, never to return. Times have changed and Cal does not have the ability to change with them. His 2012 title will go down as his peak, never to be repeated. Why, other coaches have won titles at UCLA just like other coaches have won titles at UK. But unless Cal changes his game plan he is not going to win another title, with the G league etc he will not get enough high level talent in that freshmen class to pull off a title run.

We are down right now.......until we ain’t bubba.Lol. Sell yourself while manure is still high. You hold your breath till Cal rights the ship.
Which comment offended you? Chicken neck or drama queen? And when Cal limps off into the sunset, after not getting the train rolling, are you going to sneak back and sit down on your post history? You may regret those words if he goes then busts out some national titles there. It is entirely possible.
Well he hasn’t been getting the best players in the country the last few years and that’s a fact. Which is why you see the results you see. He’s still getting a bunch of 5 starts but they’re 2nd tier and not the elite of the elite like he was getting the first several years.
He lacks significant skill at actual X’s and O’s Coaching which is why you’re seeing awful basketball especially in the beginning months of the season “just wait till March!”
So UCLA would also be getting a bunch of 10-60 rated freshman all on the same team with zero sure fire elites (Cade, Zion, Wall, AD, Simmons, RJ etc)
And that's all you've got. Figured as much.Which comment offended you? Chicken neck or drama queen?
I am in Glendale AZ; sign me up alsohell, I am in Anthem...where is that? sign me up
No , but that’s crazy talk anyway ,lol .If Cal left for UCLA and won a title, would that be worse than Pitino going to the Celtics first and then UofL?
Oh the train IS rolling . Backward , down a hill .When the train gets rolling again I can’t wait to watch you chicken neck drama queens sneaking in The back and sitting down like your post history doesn’t exist.
Its amazing how silent the media was about coach K not even making the final four with that team . Heck , the Marvin Bagley team was a major underachieving bunch also .IMO losing so early with that Zion team shows that the OAD model does not work.

He couldn’t even win a gold metal coaching Americas team .If Cal won the title at UCLA....it means UCLA made him get top notch assistants and they are luring john wall talent........ or he is an a hole and changed his style back to traditional basketball at UCLA but wont do it here.
The one and done can not win titles anymore .. not the way we or Duke does it. one and done is about to be 0-10 in making final fours since the rule changes after the 2015 season. the only way 1 and done can work is by 2 or 3 one and dones and the rest multi year guys staying until they are ready and using a traditional style. because one on one and iso ball does not work without elite nba talent so if we arent getting that, it makes our offense complete garbage.
thus in conclusion. Cal will never win another title no matter where he's at unless he changes and modernizes. But Cal is a narcissist ....... he wont change unless its his idea on his terms and right now he wants to die on the one and one positionless basketball hill.
Dude, you’re only here to wallow in misery. Look at the requirements you listed to constitute the train rolling again. Get out with that unreasonable nonsense. You’re getting what you want right now. Enjoy it.And that's all you've got. Figured as much.
No, I'm here to talk about what's happening with the program, not stick my head up Cal's ***. You get out of here with your nonsense. If I'm wrong I'll admit it. You won't.Dude, you’re only here to wallow in misery. Look at the requirements you listed to constitute the train rolling again. Get out with that unreasonable nonsense. I know you love spreading manure.Lol. Sell yourself while manure is still high. You hold your breath till Cal rights the ship.
It takes a lot of metal to do that.He couldn’t even win a gold metal coaching Americas team .
So let me get this straight, the only way you see us getting the train rolling is with multiple final fours and 1-2 titles minimum? Because that’s what you said. Anything less than that and we suck I guess. One final four won’t do it, no no. We need multiple. Only then will you admit we are back on track. Like I said, nonsense. No, I'm here to talk about what's happening with the program, not stick my head up Cal's ***. You get out of here with your nonsense. If I'm wrong I'll admit it. You won't.

He and GN could be best buds.Cal would never take that big of a demotion in pay to move his east coast family across the country.
Granted his is not the top X and O coach...but as you said HE is not getting the elite of the elite...then no matter who the coach is; it is tough to win with such a large turnover
The great coach K could not even make the FF with the best recruiting class ever!!! is he a bad XandO coach also?
