I believe that is the case too. Although Kuminga is a beast! I think Banchero is gonna be a great player. Cunningham Clarke Boston Brown and Banchero would be an incredible lineup.
If you have hopes and or expectations that Cade would lie to his best friend / brother by going somewhere other than OSU I would tell you to be prepared for disappointment.

You seem to forget that Cal was the only D1 HC doing this while the rest of the college coaches and media were saying it would destroy college basketball and you couldn’t win a NC recruiting that way. And later K discovered OAD recruiting and all was well again at ESPN. Plus please remember Cal has never had less then a #2 recruiting class while he’s been here.
Haha, I know we've still had the #1 or #2 classes each year, but I'm greedy... I wanna see another stretch like we had from 2009-2014, where it seemed like we could pretty much get anyone we wanted.

Want to chime in QG. Don't think he is/was a poor passer. His problem was he needed to control the ball to be effective and Cal wanted the ball to move as he kept screaming. Just a poor fit for Cal's system and was mainly recruited to get you know who but that didn't work out.
Cal did give him a shot though. If SGA hadn't exploded that would have been a very bad year and the Cats would not have been in a position for Quade to take the key shot.

If his brother truly loves him as a brother should , he will not let his own personal situation get in the way of Cade's best interest and desires.
There is a ton of speculation that that entire staff will be gone next season, barring a major turnaround for OSU.
And that should be all that needs to be said on the subject of brotherly loyalty.
IF we land Cade, I truly think Askew stays in 2021, plays his SR. year of high school, competes in all the post season stuff, then comes as THE man at PG for 2021. I do not think he is wanting / willing to play backup behind CC. I posted yesterday I wish kids would do the 1 year prep at college and then take over as the leader year two, as opposed to playing SR. year of HS, then coming in and learning on the fly as a true freshman. But I understands Devin's side of it also. If he stays 2021 like the plan is, it more than likely means CC is on board.
