They’re respectful toward one another and to the staff, and they are very athletic. They need time to grow as a team, learn defense, and I’m with them to the end!

I have nothing against any of the players. Probably all great kids . I kinda feel sorry for them because of the position they’ve been put in .
I actually enjoy watching them play. I’m getting older now and a loss doesn’t impact my emotions like it used too. It’s been a screwed up year so nothing phases me this year. 2021 hopefully is a reset.

I’d love the team more if I knew they were getting experience for next year. But we all know after this year over half the team will be gone to the nba, transfers, and possibly graduation if (99% sure they don’t come back) Mintz and Starr decide to not take advantage of their extra year.

the talent is Boston, Clarke and Jackson. Pg play needs to improve and cal needs to figure out the offensive sets. It’s one thing to practice against each other but you really can’t hammer out lineups without playing other squads.

UK fans see the holes. They also know it's been 4 games. They know the last few years are different. Keeping an open-mind and giving this group a chance to go from a group of individuals to a cohesive unit doesn't mean people are happy. It means that we are giving them the opportunity to grow like everywhere else. People are so sick of the OAD, but when the normal struggles happen it's the sky is falling. That makes absolutely no effing sense.

Yes, they are going through growing pains. They arrived on campus as 8 individual players and just played in their 4th game. How can they be going through anything but growing pains. Another guy missed 2 years basucally. The one guy from the system is hurt. Not saying he is a savior, but he'd at least have experience. It can't get much more "growing pained" than that.

So all of these uber talented players are not good enough to beat a team that hadn't won a game yet? A team that lost to Mercer and Georgia State.

I am saying that since these guys are having these "growing pains" they should be give a chance to work through them like they would if they were at any other school besides a Kentucky or a Duke.

Cal got lucky that Sarr and Toppin were cleared to play. Imagine this team if that doesn't happen. No depth. No inside presence.

Cal's system did create this. These aren't "exhibition" games. They are however learning experiences for the most inexperienced team I think I've ever seen in the Power 5. 8 new players. 1 player who hasn't seen much of the court in the past 2 years. Not sure what this being their last loss has to do with anything. We've had teams that have had many losses still go on to a successful season. Sarr and Toppin are playing though. I don't want to imagine they aren't playing. The first 4 games have been painful enough. Im very awake. You can keep spinning your fables about me though. I've always been one to give credit where it's due and to hold someone's feet to the fire when its needed. This season there are so many doing that so I don't need on this board because you all have it covered in spades.
