Cook has a loaded young team that looks to be Final 4 competitors for several years, barring some big transfers.

I've been asking myself that for years. I thought it was going to be Hildebrand when he came back. Still could be now that he's getting HC experience. Yes Dani would be the logical and popular pick.
Osborne has been torched by some for hand picking his replacement. Does cook??
It needs to be a man if we want to keep winning titles. No disrespect. Thats just how it is. I like Hildebrandt, but can he sit still?
I just can't see Cook stepping down quite yet. He could have an historically great team next year and I think he's still motivated chasing Russ Rose's record for titles. That would be really tough to match but who knows what he's thinking.
It's definitely his until he decides it's not fun anymore. Top of his game right now and hit it out of the park with last year's recruiting class and getting Beason transferred in

Every year that goes by Busboom Kelly is continuing to build a very impressive HC resume. She has family & friends here. Former great player here. It seems to be the perfect match.
Cook is an awfully young looking 67 though. I'm not even sure he's begun to think about retiring. Unless his ranch life is calling out to him.

Yep.. Osborne’s biggest blunder was retiring too young.. he had another 15 good years (maybe more) left in the tank
