Fran during the last timeout:

"I know all you stiffs scored 9,000 points in high school and won the Eddie Floorburn Award four years in a row, but get the effing ball to Murray."

I like how when we get a bad call that helps us, the announcers spend the next 5 minutes straight bitching about it. I almost never see them do that.

How in the hell did he not get T’ed up there?
That was a pretty bad call. But it’s the same type of crap call that sent Jordy Hairdo to the FT line about 10,000 times during his 9-year Iowa career. Fran was okay with all of those.

Imo the call should have been made on initial contact not 2 to 3 seconds later

Agree. If you don’t blow the whistle on the initial bump, don’t call a phantom foul on the shot. But B1G refs being B1G refs, they just made it up to Fran on later possessions.

It was super obvious.

Why do all the “defensive specialists” Fred recruited look better on offense than the “offense first” guys he recruited in years past?
Coaching feels different this year and it even noticeably changed right when Trev got here. Maybe put some heat on him. I’ve noticed the players I hated at the beginning of the year are actually playing much better. Tominaga and Breidenbach appear to be getting positively coached as the season goes on. We have a team with a pulse!

Good thing I’m not drinking I’d get dizzy for your post. Just my two cents this years players are team players no individualism

Ok Tominaga's starting to piss me off. Seems like he's in "I gotta get mine" mode.

The guy leading the go Big Red chant is annoying and doesn't know how to do it. I think he's same one at vb games 🤬

Love how hard some of these guys compete. Gary, Griesel, Bandoumel, Walker... really everyone tonight. Bunch of dogs.
