The offensive glass and loose ball effort from this group is up there with the best I’ve seen from a Hoiberg team.

The best part is that some of these legit tough guys are rubbing off on guys like Breidenbach and clearly making them play tougher. Leadership.

Hummel getting a woody because Iowa cut it to 15. He has about 4 B1G teams that he loves to death. Hawks are one of those.

The play-by-play guy was fine, but Hummel is an ***. Can’t stand him as an announcer.

All of his postgame questions are some version of: “Iowa’s wayyyyyyy better than you. How did you luck out and beat them???”

It was a good time. Talked to a Husker fan from Omaha sitting next to me. Season ticket holder in football but taking advantage of the students being on break like we did. Is apprehensive about Rhule because of the excitement surround Frost many moons ago. Some good old fashioned rubbing from security guards but that was about it.

Had to miss the game because of another dinner with a group of friends that have this big dinner every year around this time and everyone wanted to watch the Cheez it football game …

Someone did inform me that Hoieberg boys were blowing out the Herky’s..

Recorded the game and will watch it sometime this week..
