I don't really care about a coach getting or not getting favorable calls.
I care about titles. He's got one and maybe two after tonight. That's good enough for me.

All some of our fans do is whine about officiating. Good teams and coaches overcome the refs.
This. I don’t know why people still say these absolutes and never learn. Just 2 days ago these same guys thought Calipari wouldn’t leave UK and the pressure didn’t matter. Imagine had you told them he’d take Arkansas! They would have laughed you off the board. Some of them.
Guys, stop assuming you understand these things, we don’t. Just like Calipari wouldn’t be able to stay here under the pressure, many thought he would. He couldn’t. The list goes on and on. These are business decisions in that they’re very fluid, it moves fast and you really can’t know what is going to happen.
Learn this, there are no absolutes in this business. We could end up with Pope, we could end up with Hurley. There’s no way to predict what these guys will do. They do NOT think like you and I. Different breeds. Don’t assume anything.
One other thing to keep in mind. UConn will not be joining the major conferences during the next shifts. That’s a huge financial difference moving forward. These coaches already know how much difference this will make and if Hurley cares about that it’s enough to send him out of there. Nobody knows.

Good, the least we can do is force Uconn to have the highest paid coach in college basketball. We will see how long they are OK with that.
