Hurley smoke

I'm not paying to see. Someone tell me please
Probably "Hurley will listen if UK calls" then they give that lame *** tagline to get you to pay lol
Well, he's wearing a UK sweatshirt, so I guess it must be true, right?
Put $11 million a year and 5 for NIL and make him say no.
Feel like if Hurley came we would absolutely get ZERO favorable whistles until he leaves.
If it's anything about UConn offering him an extension, forget it. They were going to anyway. Tonight only changes the dollar amount. Hurley stays at UConn.
Hurley Smoke! At first I thought it said Holy Smoke! LOL!
Hurley is going to use this to leverage more money from UConn. Bank on it, he is.
Does he need more leverage other than 1 championship and on verge of a back2back?
Pipe dream but he's #1 on my list. Let's hope he's actually willing to listen
Hearing Richard Pitino might be our guy
Like we did with Cal lol. Refs hated Cal
You got a lot of leverage with back to backs and the Kentucky job open.
CM Newton didn't think Pitino would listen either.
Worst case we make Uconn pony up and match Kentucky at the 9-10 million range.
Just that UCONN people were worried. Doesn't mean anything.
It makes sense for him to leave. With the upcoming conference realignment, the ground is quickly shrinking beneath him. He wont be able to do what he is doing now in a few years because the Big East will be a joke.
Throw in Bengals season tickets and Danny’s in
Few people like Cal ... doesn't play well with others.
No different than with Calipari. Especially his first 8-10 years here.
I mean this goes back to what I mentioned in the other thread.
It would make zero sense for 1) UK to not make this call and 2) For Hurley to not at least listen.
Even if you are completely satisfied with where you are at, it costs nothing to pick up and listen lol

Why do you think that?
I don't think his teams are currently treated like that are they?
I don't really care about a coach getting or not getting favorable calls.
I care about titles. He's got one and maybe two after tonight. That's good enough for me.

All some of our fans do is whine about officiating. Good teams and coaches overcome the refs.
This. I don’t know why people still say these absolutes and never learn. Just 2 days ago these same guys thought Calipari wouldn’t leave UK and the pressure didn’t matter. Imagine had you told them he’d take Arkansas! They would have laughed you off the board. Some of them.
Guys, stop assuming you understand these things, we don’t. Just like Calipari wouldn’t be able to stay here under the pressure, many thought he would. He couldn’t. The list goes on and on. These are business decisions in that they’re very fluid, it moves fast and you really can’t know what is going to happen.
Learn this, there are no absolutes in this business. We could end up with Pope, we could end up with Hurley. There’s no way to predict what these guys will do. They do NOT think like you and I. Different breeds. Don’t assume anything.
One other thing to keep in mind. UConn will not be joining the major conferences during the next shifts. That’s a huge financial difference moving forward. These coaches already know how much difference this will make and if Hurley cares about that it’s enough to send him out of there. Nobody knows.

Painter is responsible for this smoke; he's a sly one.
Good, the least we can do is force Uconn to have the highest paid coach in college basketball. We will see how long they are OK with that.
If he leverages this for more money the more power to the man lol.
I'd like him to be UK head coach but if not onto the next one.

I just pray this isn't 2007 all over again. Everyone wanting Donovan even though we knew it was a long shot but MB delivered us BCG.
