Yes, we've acknowledged that he's a conservative but not sure why you think a secure border is in opposition to Democratic policy. Biden mis-managed the border but that doesn't mean we approved of it and most lefties on the board acknowledge that Trump has done a good job there. I have no idea about his stance on entitlements or identity politics and not sure it's well-known or relevant.

I haven't paid close attention to Starmer so not sure how that matters either way but I do know that Starmer and other European leaders are relieved that Orban is gone. Magyar will be willing to work with their leaders in a way that Orban would not.

It wasn't about the world moving left but moving away from an illiberal democracy that Trump wanted to emulate. This election proves that if he tries, the people will revolt.

Illiberal Democracy:
"using state power to win culture wars, weaken liberal institutions, and maintain long-term right-wing populist rule. His "illiberal democracy" is viewed as a blueprint for reversing progressive policies, controlling media, and installing conservative leadership in education"
I think it just proves most people are moderately conservative for the most part. Which makes the celebration odd, because I’ve been over here long enough to know that you and several others are not moderates. Despite what you’re saying now. You guys are not voting for a remigration candidate like this guy, period.

If you think Starmer is more of an autocrat than Orban then you have absolutely no clue what on earth you are talking. This is an absurdly ludicrous statement
Did orban imprision 12000 of his citizens for saying mean things about immigrants or child sex changes? 🤡

I don't think you know what you're talking about. If the choice was between this guy and Trump, I'd crawl over broken glass to vote for him. If you believe I'm a radical far-lefty, you haven't been paying attention. Being anti-Trump means nothing about where I fall on the political spectrum. I thought Bush was a bad president but I'd give up a years salary to have him right now instead of Trump.

Do you support remigration? I would support this over Trump too. Kamala or this guy? Be honest.

new guy went on their equivalent of Fox News (not a perfect comp but close) and basically went HAM while sitting across from one of their anchors.

New Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar appeared as a guest on state television M1 for the first time and made shocking statements:

-We will suspend this channel's news service. This isn't about me; I'm not seeking revenge. Our people deserve journalism that reflects the truth.

-We will nationalize the assets given to businesspeople and foundations during the Orbán era.

-The Mathias Corvinus Collegium Foundation, close to Orbán, was transferred 10% of MOL (oil company) and Gedeon Richter (pharmaceutical company) for free. We will take back these shares.

-After 16 years of the Orbán era, 400,000 Hungarian children in this country are living in deep poverty.

-President Sulyok is no longer the president of this country in my eyes or in the eyes of the people.

-(In response to the host asking about his meeting with Zelensky as a counterpoint) I get your joke, and I even like it. But your references no longer carry any meaning.

-According to you, Germany has collapsed, there's no internet there, people aren't even having sex. The Hungarian people were laughing at you.

-It was said on this channel that even my young children won't talk to me, when in fact my children live with me.

-(When the host interrupted him) No host in this studio ever dared to interrupt Hungary's most corrupt and most lying prime minister.

-(When asked about the legal basis for closing the news service) For someone on this channel to accuse me of breaking the law looks like a thief accusing the police.

Magyar's policies are restrictive but far from the extreme rhetoric associated with remigration. Europe's issue with immigration is different than ours so you can't understand it using our example. Many of the Europeans I've met from other countries also favor stricter immigration policies so he's not too far out of line in that regard.

"never been a worse time in history to be a straight white male" is my favorite kind of republican pvssy as we sit here with a senile, deranged white male with no previous political experience who was elected president for the second time by legions of racist morons after committing numerous felonies, being judged liable for rape by a jury, attempting to overturn our free and fair election, being caught saying he grabs women by the pvssy on tape, etc.

cry more, white boy snowflake

Kamala or Magyar? Stop politicking and answer.
Wdym immigration is different? In what way? Immigrants from places all over the world have piled into Europe and they’ve piled into America. I love how every point you have some weird excuse why it’s that way. It’s comical. You did the same thing with the Biden admin censoring comment.
Biden himself accused platforms of “killing people” for not censoring enough.

You take one thing and try to spin it like this:
LOL this is lame, sorry. Twitter briefly prevented the Post story from being shared but you could still read the actual story on the site as well as others, but a reminder that it didn't have anything on it that implicated Biden in a crime.

While ignoring this:
Pressure on Facebook/Meta (COVID-19 content)
Senior Biden officials repeatedly pressured Meta to censor posts, including humor and satire about vaccines and COVID policies. Mark Zuckerberg publicly admitted this in 2024, saying the White House expressed frustration when Meta didn’t comply fast enough. Biden himself accused platforms of “killing people” for not censoring enough.

• Suppression of the Hunter Biden Laptop Story (2020)
Twitter blocked links to the New York Post story, and Facebook limited its spread. This was influenced by FBI warnings and a letter from 51 former intelligence officials calling it Russian disinformation. Internal documents (Twitter Files) later revealed coordination involving the Biden campaign.

• Missouri v. Biden (Murthy v. Missouri) Lawsuit Evidence
White House officials, CDC, and Surgeon General repeatedly contacted social media platforms to flag and remove content on:

• COVID vaccines, masks, lockdowns, and the lab-leak theory

• Election integrity questions

• Criticism of Biden administration policies
Courts found significant evidence of government coercion before the Supreme Court ruled on standing.

• Pressure on Google/YouTube
Google admitted in congressional testimony that Biden administration officials pushed the company to remove or demonetize videos that did not violate YouTube’s own policies, especially on COVID and election topics.

• Broader Government Coordination (House Investigations & Twitter Files)

• Regular meetings between White House, CISA, FBI, and platforms to share “misinformation trends” and request takedowns.

• Flagging of specific users and posts (including doctors, journalists, and parody accounts).

• Pressure extended to Amazon (books) and other companies.

• Threats of regulatory action if platforms didn’t cooperate.

Yeah, I was mainly wanting to point out how Democrats in the US are actually far more to the right than their European counterparts. It also doesn't hurt that most European nations have more than just 2 parties, so it's not an apples to apples comparison.
Right, and I'm saying the Democrats actually aren't to the right of their European counterparts

Yawn, I'm not going to spend all day responding to your grievances and I'm not interested in re-litigating the Biden presidency, which was milquetoast for all intents and purposes compared to our current one, but if you can't see how Trump's policies are worse for free speech, then I can't help you.

But I'll just say this...America is a young country compared to Europe and we've always been a melting pot of cultures whereas Europe has thousands of years of strong national identities that are more homogenous than ours. Their immigrants are more aligned with Muslim culture - ours are Hispanic neighbors filling jobs that Americans don't want for the most part. Our immigrants don't threaten our culture because they've always been a part of it. The immigrants in Europe are more of a recent influx due to instability in their home countries.

I'd say your typical dem establishment is (Schumer, Pelosi, etc) , but the progressive wing that's on the rise isn't. I could be wrong, idk
Like Mamdani? Brandon Johnson. What about newsome or walz? AOC or Talib? Wu. Omar. Crockett. Pritzker. Raskin. Bowman. Do you live in America?

I'd say Pelosi is more progressive than Schumer, but in some ways they're both to the left of the European liberal parties. The main issues are LGBT (specifically trans) rights and immigration

And all very far left of center. Agreed? I doubt you can find ordinary Americans that think otherwise.
No on both counts. Raskin is more to the center/right of the Dems, Newsom is more to the right for the Dems on certain issues. Walz is center/center-left. Prtizker is to the left of Walz but he is to the right of AOC, etc.

Many of them are very popular with normal Americans, especially AOC (who I have as one of my top 2 presidential candidates I'll support in 2028). Walz, Pritzker, Newsom, Mamdani all have been elected by millions of ordinary Americans

Changed name when they permanently banned JH and it triggers the phuck out of the libs. He was a hero to them.
Dpic would still blow him rn
This illustrates why your people are on the Mainboard and why you don't fit in here. All you have is insults because you're too stupid to carry on a normal conversation on a board that discusses politics, so you've decided that for you to win, you would call people vile names and they would cower. Nobody gives a sh*t about your thoughts but if annoying the f out of everyone for no good reason is your goal, then I guess you could call that a win. You're a sad one...
