This better be the writing on the wall for bam to return and bamba to come. Or at least one can hope lol. But all the best to Isaac.

A bit surprised but probably should not be,Cal has probably known about this for a month or more and was more sure it would happen than in the case of Bam or Briscoe.

Goes to show how little the average fan knows about the dynamics of UK basketball.

If we get Bamba i think we will be fine. Cal doesnt let centers shoot much anyways, we need a bruiser, consistent rebounder, or post-type player playing the 5 for us. Players who I did enjoy having on the team, but are not the types of players that should be starting the center spot on any UK roster. are Lee, Wiltjer, Humphries. Skal etc.

Good luck Isaac. Cant blame him. Big, talented, well schooled now and he has spent a long time away from home which is 9K+ miles away. He will be recruited over each year so... probably best decision for him.

Best of luck to IH. Hopefully, there is something known within the team/staff about Bam staying or Bamba committing that may have influenced his decision. I can't imagine if there was just the current projected roster, that he would've had concerns about PT.
Just said the very same thing to a UK fan at work. It only makes sense for him to leave if either Bam or Bamba will be in the roster. I simply can't see him leaving if there's a starting spot open for him to take. He's obviously consulted with the staff and that has played a part Iin his decision. Jmho

Well, hopefully mods go ahead and merge the 50 threads that started simultaneously.

So laughable. Absolutely ridiculous guys like this continue to leave early. Why did Cal even waste the time/scholarship on him if this was an option?

KU gets Graham back, UK loses Hump and Briscoe leaving to go play pro in Djibouti Africa.

I don't really care about him leaving as I think he's not that good. It's just getting a bit silly, IMO.

Who knows, this may help sway SKJ to stay or be more optimistic about PT next year. Much more upside. Still plenty of depth inside.

It's hard to see players like this leave. Cal recruits players so he can build 4-year players but they all leave. When Fox and Monk come in ... you just expect they will only be here for a year. When someone like Humphries leaves, it hurts because you expect them to be here longer.

I'm telling myself he was homesick. I mean Australia is not close.. Going pro gives him the chance to head back home to his family. It would be different if this were a guy from the states.
