Definitely better options available that would create more buzz around the program.

His career coaching experience is literally a low level assistant under Roy for 8 years and the UNC JV head coach.

Have to keep it in the family so the bodies stay buried.

I can't find the clip on Youtube of that time on College GameDay in the John Wall year where Hubert was forced to admit that nothing in Carolina basketball could compare with the Rupp crowd -- many hours before the game. I can almost quote him: "I went to North Carolina - North Carolina - but I've never seen anything like this!"

It'd make a nice meme.

It’s like the Corleone family. Not even Tom Hagen could catch a break - and he was eminently more qualified than Hubert Davis. Did UNC just hire Fredo?!

If I'm a UNC fan, this does not get me excited one bit. Maybe it will work out fine. He's certainly well versed in the "Carolina Way". 🤣

Mob bosses didn't make their people go to class either ? How in the world did they learn all those millions of dollars that the mob brought in every year if they didn't go to class ?

Anyone wanna schedule the Heels now? I do and feel good about any roster we put together. We have an opportunity to put a dent their head-2-head lead but Cal probably doesn't want to offend any of his Chapel Hill friends.
