We have 18 folks headed to my place in DFW tomorrow. My son in law has a kick *** smoker in his back yard and will smoke a 20lb for us. Our other 20 lb will be cooked at my place the traditional way. We have tons of sides and for dessert we baked 2 home made apple pie ( apples picked in Pa this past season) Pumpkin Pie, Southern Chocolate Pie and finally , a Texas Pecan Pie. A very important part of our guest list is a family of 4 who very suddenly lost their Dad. They were with us last year as well.
