Let's just say the shat that ISU pulled most of this game would not have gone unanswered back in the "Bullies of the B1G" days.

Clones would have received some rung bells to let them know their crap was noticed and unappreciated.

Since the other cyclone fan on here is too much of a coward to respond, maybe you will. What are your thoughts on your players taking cheap shots throughout the entire game?

No chance the Special Teams coaches don't know the rule - very little chance they are not teaching their kids the rule - so I'd go with option 3.

At the end of the day (or game), players were getting along. It is a intense rivalry, like it should be. If you watch much football it was pretty tame compared to other rivalries. I didn't see any meaningful cheap shots by either team.
My memory isn't what it use to be, but I think I recall the Hawkeyes trying to do this ( pushing the return man into the ball) on a ISU punt return in Ames (in 2025).

Iowa beat us this game, we will give it another shot next year.

So obvious the big 12 officiating crew was out there to screw Iowa. all of these personal fouls were clearly visible to officials standing just a few feet away. Deshaun Lee was grabbed by the facemask and tackled when he tried to stop the touchdown, the Iowa state player fell two feet short of the end zone with an elbow and knee down….it was ruled a TD.

Under NCAA replay rules, when a ruling of complete pass is overturned to incomplete, the replay official can restore the game clock to what it should have been based on the corrected ruling. So if the pass should have been incomplete, the clock generally goes back to the time it would have shown when the incomplete pass occurred.

So just today heard mention of the ISU receiver that is injured and now out for the year. Some complaining that was a dirty play by Iowa. I don't recall when it happened. Anyone have a clip? I think WR name is Evan Boyd.

I think it was a Des Moines tv station that did a shorty on YouTube that maybe an Iowa player twisted his leg.

Normally fans post clips on X of the missed penalties. So clones fanatics let's see them.

pass was ruled a catch first hence the clock ran--replay had to buzz down for them ot review it---argue with yourself much?

Embarrassing that Andy and Murph are at all playing the “both sides” angle on this. Looks like a normal tackle that see in every football game to me.

this is Murph trying to have it both ways and not offend one single viewer, not a very courageous stance. It is similar to the cowardice we see from politicians.
