Are people just freaking out because Houston beat LSU? I mean I'm sure it won't be an easy matchup but nothing about their style of play scares me.
Ohio State is just not good.
They don't have a guy that can drive the lane, so they're just shooting outside shots. They're playing right into Houston's hands.
I'm surprised Houston isn't up by 20 tbh. Ohio State looks very NIT-ish in this game. Some of it is Houston's defense, but Ohio State is soft.

Ohio State looks slow. Always seem to be behind the play. Can't penetrate. Settling for long jumpers. Have one good big. Houston doubles down every time they throw it to him. He throws it back out and they miss a 3.
I wouldn't say we struggled with this all year. In conference play we allowed teams to shoot 32% from 3........not bad at all. 4th in the SEC.

For a large portion of the year, we've done very good defending the 3 actually considering that 34.4% contains a bunch of high % games from the beginning of the season,
I think he's saying we can't win without PJ. Which is also wrong.

OSU has no real perimeter threat, they should be driving to the rim every trip. They were in the bonus at like the 11 min mark instead they are steady shooting 3s. You know that’s not happening with us unless we are on fire from deep.
Our defense is most def gonna keep us in the game so if we are firing on all cylinders i don’t see them staying close to us.

We have had a habit of leaving shooters wide open from outside, especially when Nick is in the game.
We were as good as you can hope for yesterday, but guarding the 3 point shot has been a knock on us all season.
But I did not know we were holding SEC opponents to 32%. That's not bad. But it sure seems like we have been getting shredded from the outside all year .

But their defense efficiency rating is 76th, which jives with what we are seeing here. They are just jacking bad shots and they have no driving game what so ever.
I agree I have not been impressed with Ohio St. Plays very poor defense and only has 1 real good player and that is their center.
Ohio State literally looks like they have never played basketball before.
Houston has a really quick point guard, but they don't look like they have much size. (Both height and weight wise). I think we will punish them inside, PJ or not. They play aggressive D, but they foul a LOT. Feeling good about this game. Sure anyone can beat us on any given game. But watching them tonight, I think we are the better team.
Why do so many people on this board want Ohio State’s coach as our next coach? I just don’t see it. Is it because he’s from Kentucky? What has he done to make people think he would be even remotely decent here?
